Chapter 3: A Talking Flower

Hey, 

I'm sorry It took so long for me to update this. If you are confused on the story so far, this chapter might make you understand better. I am going to be including what happened to Asriel in this chapter.

Also, if you are confused by something, just tell me and I will try to explain it better. I hope you like this chapter.

I jump back, shocked to see that a flower is talking to me. Why do I recognize you? I think to myself. I call Sans, knowing he will probably be mad that I snuck out. I try to dodge "friendliness pellets" until one of them hits me. I...don't feel determination. I feel like giving up. I go down on my knees and cry. My whole body starts to glitch. I look up, flowey looks at me. Sans comes rushing out of the house. He stares at me and then walks over by my side. "Hey kid, are you okay" he asks. "Not really", I answer honestly. He helps me up, and then we walk back to his house .  

When we are back at the house I say sorry to Sans for sneaking out . "It's okay kiddo", he says. I start to blush, but then I glitch again. My whole body is glitching, and when I try to speak, all that comes out is a bunch of jumbled sounds. I'm...broken. Sans starts speaking to me, he seems confused, but I can't hear what he's saying. Soon everything becomes blurry. I feel weak, I cant move anything. And then, I'm out.

I know I passed out. I'm trying to wake up. But I feel like there's something I'm supposed to see here. I look down, I see someone speaking with a doctor. Wait, is that Asriel? He is in a hospital room. There is a large bed in the center of the room. Asgore and Toriel are kneeling by the bed. Then I hear Asriel speak to the doctor. "Please! Just tell be she's gonna be okay!!" said Asriel, now starting to cry. "How do you know Chara?" the doctor asked. Asriel thought about this for a moment, then replied, "She is my sister". I realize now that I am the person in the bed, I now know that this is when I was in the hospital.

Asriel looks over at the bed, and sighs. I notice that my heart rate gets slower and slower. Its a sickening feeling watching yourself suffer, but knowing you cant do anything about it but watch. Toriel and Asgore seem to get more concerned. I want to look away but I cant because its a dream. And then, the scariest moment of all. My heart stops beating. the machine beeps. Toriel and Asgore stand up and bow their heads. But Asriel rushes over to my bed and sits right next to me. You'll always be my sister, he says. And then stands up. He glances one long sad glance at me and then stands next to Toriel and Asgore. 

He walks away with Toriel and Asgore. I think that it's over. But then When Toriel and Asgore's backs are turned he rushes over to me. "This isn't the end yet!" he says. As Toriel and Asgore turn around, Asriel nods at them. "Don't try to stop me" he says. And with those last words, he closed his eyes, and touched me. He seemed to be getting weaker while I was getting stronger. Eventually,  Asriel collapsed on the floor in a pile of flowers. Shortly after, I woke up. Both in the dream, and in real life. I look around, trying to understand, and I do. I live with Asriel's soul now.
