Bad Luck In Pitch Black

   After I agreed to help Mrs.Gordan,I checked my phone."Huh no word from Dawn,can't believe I was actually looking forward to this"I said after looking down at my white dress."You look fancy but your face looks down...*gasps* it's boy drama isn't it?" Mrs.Gordan said with a genuine smile on her face.Oh God Tera now your in a situation of having to make up a boyfriend while lock picking.Hmm never knew this day would come."Oh yeah um "boy drama",well I was going to go on a date with a guy named Dawn but he stood me up."She could tell I was upset but- *click click* the sound of the doorknob made when I finally lock picked it."Yes!" I said while doing the finger guns.Yep that's how awkward I am."Thanks darling,now I can finally get my keys and purse and get the hell out of this lousy neighborhood." Mrs.Gordan said as she started her car and drove off.I knew it was killing her to be nice for once.This house looks so big with no furniture in it!I haven't been inside forever so I can tell there's some slight changes.Like the basement door is chained up and where the bookshelf used to be there's like a cellar?I can't describe it but it looks like the thing you go into when there's a storm coming.I will not go in the basement because it's chained up for a reason buuuttt taking a look in the cellar won't hurt anyone.Right?Wrong as soon as I went down the first step the whole staircase plunged down.What was I thinking!The staircase hasn't been used in years so of course it would break down when someone tried using it,and I could lose a couple pounds."Ou- Erghhh my whole body feels as if I jumped off a cloud and landed face first on a skyscraper."I said in pain while looking around.Its pitch black and I can't find a light switch."Great now I'm in the dark alone,I think?"I must've jinxed it because as soon as I said that the hair on the back of my neck stood up like when you pour water on a cat.I was frozen.It was either flight or fight.Considering there was no where to run,I was getting ready to kill whatever just ran past me.But then I heard a vibration.As soon as I saw the light I ran over to it.There my phone was,cracked and ringing like crazy.I got to read the caller ID before it went back to pitch black.It was Dawn!Thank God someone misses me.Hopefully she'll come looking for me because my phone won't let me turn it on nonetheless call someone.It was unsettling being down here.I have a pit in my stomach that won't go away.Then I felt it.Something running past me AGAIN.I was getting angry then all of a sudden....I was down on the floor.I have a terrible headache.Then their it was.Something standing over me.No not something.Someone.
