Why me?

Chapter one

Hi, my name is Haley Anderson. I have piercing blue eyes, and brown hair that goes down to my shoulders. I'm about average height for a 16 year old.Not to mention skinny. I'm not the type of person to be mean, I'm only if your are rude first. I go to Papillion-La vista high school, I love it there but there is one reason not to...you can thank this clique of boys that bully me. They're Cameron, Taylor, Nash, Matt, and Aaron. Don't worry I'm not one of those people that doesn't has anyone to stand up for them they are very good friends of mine Jack G, Jack J, and Daniella. The boys I was talking about earlier only target me and, I will never understand why.

As I walk into school I see the Jacks,and Daniella. I start to walk over there until Nash stops me with the rest of his group. "What do you want Nash," I said."Oh just saying 'hi' to the little nerd," he chuckled. [Towards the end of talking.] "Can I go please...I need to talk to my friends about something."

"No your not good enough to have friends! Haley, your just a little nerd that sits in her room and studies 24/7," he hissed. "

"Y-you don't know me Nash."

"Yes I do! Haley don't you remember when we were the best of friends, we would alway hang out after school, and on the weekends, but you ruined everything for that friendship! So stop saying I don't know you Hayley!" He yelled. I felt the tears well up in my eyes, and he threw me to the ground then walked away with the rest of his friends. I get up with the help of Jack G, and we walk over to the table.

"What happened over there Haley?" Daniella asks me as I sit down next to Jack J.

"Nash just wanted to push me around a little... it's no big deal."

"Yes it is Haley, those boys can't do this to you! You HAVE to tell someone about this."

"I can't! They'll just hurt me again Daniella."

"Exactly why you have you have to tell someone Hale." Jack J explained [stepping into the conversation.]

"Fine I will tell someone." I said as the bell rang for class, and we all separated.

*Skipping school*

After school I stayed a little later to finish some homework. I then realized that Daniella was my ride home so I started walking home when I heard someone honk, I nearly jumped 5 feet in the air. When I saw who it was, I wanted to start running it was Cameron yeah the Cameron from the group earlier.

"Hey Haley do you want a ride home?" he said with a cheeky smile.

"Uh no thank you Cameron but thanks for the offer." his smile dropped huh I wonder why...

"Oh okay then, bye Haley." He said and drove away. I got home and walked in my room then started to listen to 'sleeping with sirens' while I did my homework. I heard the front door open, mom yell;

"Haley I'm home and I brought dinner for you!" I groaned and turned off my music, then went down stairs

"what's for dinner?"

"I brought home a pizza it's pepperoni."

"Okay thank you mom." "Your welcome dear."

Then my phone went off,

It was a number I didn't recognize..

unknown number: Hey Haley it's Cameron.

Me: Uh hi Cameron

Cameron: I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out tomorrow or something..

Me: sure where do you want to meet?

Cameron: just go to my car after school tomorrow.

Me: ok.

After that I got tired and went to bed.
