There was something wrong. Something different about this world. As if someone changed a few codes.
Just as he was about to check if something happened, someone groped him. He squealed.
Then he felt arms wrapping themselves around him, together with a familiar voice saying, "Pinetree!!!! Did you miss me? Admit it, you missed me!"
This was not in the codes. This was not in the codes. He repeats in his mind one more time, that action was not an option encoded in the codes for when the player was interacting with him!!!!!
Stuttering, he said his lines, "G-good morning, Bill. How was your summer?"
Bill sighed, "I was so bored... It probably would've been more fun," he paused, looking at Dipper in the eyes, "...and pleasurable if you were there."
That was definitely something he shouldn't be telling him!!!
Before he could reply, he realized they were at the school gates but his sister who still wasn't there!!! What was happening??? He turned to look at Bill and saw that he was looking at him.
"So, any tips for today Pinetree?" Bill grinned and Dipper couldn't help but smile back. "Well, I heard a lot of students got into fateful encounters with their future lovers–"
He was cut off when Bill suddenly pulled him closer, grabbed his chin, and tilted it toward his face, "Then is this what you would consider a fateful encounter?" He asked, his lips curling into a smirk.
"What? No!" Dipper's face turned red as he struggled to get out of his grip. This shouldn't be happening. This shouldn't be happening! Mabel, where are you!!???
Their faces got closer and closer, their lips nearly touching now, just a few more—
"Hey!!! No fair! You're having fun without me!" She pouted as she got closer.
—oh thank God. I swear, once we get home, I'll drink the Mabel juice you made in the fridge.
While he was distracted, I quickly broke away from his hold and smiled at her. Following what the game narrated, Bill starts teasing her and I secretly sigh in relief. Another encounter survived!
