the sun shone, basking her petite body with warmth she had never experienced before. the crunch of the dried up leaves beneath her feet constantly reminding her of the sweet bliss of autumn. the heavenly smell of aniseed biscuits reminding her of home. she never experienced the beauty of the soft yellows and the sharp oranges scattered around the small town she lived in. she had always stayed inside, watching the leaves fall as she drifted into a well needed thunderstorm.

//rain had always been a part of the young girl, needing to follow her every move. it because comforting. a way to portray her feelings. she had never thought she'd see the illuminescent sun ever again, for the damp smog had consumed her little mind//

she never knew how much skipping had made her feel like a little girl again, the bouncing of her feet led her to a small cafe, she craved the taste of a freshly made vanilla latte sliding down her throat and shocking her insides. the smooth cream diluted the pain and masked it with a sweet sensation, making her moan in ecstasy.

she walked into the almost empty cafe, the bell indicating a new customer. as she approached the counter, a man pushed in front of her, only in his mere 20's, apologising with a ludicrous "sorry princess".
