'Hm... It must be lunch now.' Shin thought as the bell rung, looking at the view from where he sat on the rooftop, which he has no idea about how he got there. "Man, I can't believe I sneaked away like that from my class... it was one of the best ways to gain clues and information..." Shin mumbled, smacking his hand to his face.

"Gain clues?"

Shin jumped at the sudden voice. Looking up he saw a male with dual-coloured hair, half-red half-white, and for some unknown reason- was insanely hot.

"Todoroki..?" Shin mumbled, not realising that he said that out loud. What was Todoroki doing up here on the rooftop? Little did he know, Todoroki was asking the exact same questions back.

"How do you know my name? And what do you mean by gaining clues and information? Are you a spy?" Todoroki pestered the brunette.

"Ahh, AH!" Shin jumped up, now standing. "I can't believe I said that out loud! I'm such an Idiot! Naomasa is going to kill me now!" Shin whined, his hands combing through his messy hair from underneath his hat.

Todoroki stared at the male in front of him, who was now on the verge of bawling his eyes out. "Can you please explain to me what's going on here? Why did you run away from class? Clues? Information? How do you know my name?" Shin was surprised, even though he had not been here for long, he knew that Todoroki was one of the more silent people due to the information that was said in his mini report. This was probably the most Todoroki talked since coming to U.A.

"Ok! Ok! I'll tell you! But you promise you won't tell anyone else!" Shin said, looking around to see if anyone else was nearby. Luckily there was no one on the roof except Todoroki and himself. Maybe they were the only two who had realised how to get up here.

"Sure? I promise I won't tell. Well, if you're a villain I will report you to the staff here." Todoroki said hesitantly. Shin felt like he could trust Todoroki, other than the fact the Todoroki had no friends at the moment to tell and wasn't very social, Shin believes he could keep the secret.

Shin took a deep breath before beginning and whispering to Todoroki quietly, just incase if anyone had super-hearing in the school or something. "I'm a rising detective who has come to see if I can find the U.A. Traitor."

"U.A... Traitor?" Todoroki Shoto questioned. It was the first he had heard of a so-called traitor.

"Yeah, though the staff here hasn't mentioned it because they don't want to cause an uprise in the school," Shin explained.

"Why is there a U.A. Traitor though?" Shoto asked, sitting down at a nearby bench.

"U.A. suspects there is a traitor among the students because of the recent attacked. The traitor would have given information to the villains that class 1-A was visiting USJ. And that's why I'm here. To find the traitor amongst the students before any more information is leaked and the villains attacked again." Shin explained the best he could.

Shoto nodded, seeming to understand the gist. "But why are you telling me this? For all you know I'm a possible suspect. A villain even"

"Aha, who said I could ever trust you? I know you have daddy issues. You would probably be happy if you betrayed your father and saw his priceless face when he realises that his own son became a villain." Shin laughed at the possibility. It wasn't impossible though, anyone could become a villain with the right motives.

"How did you know I have issues with endeavour?" The hot but cold boy asked. Not even calling his old man as father.

"Pshh- even I have issues with him! He's total trash. Plus, you're like an open book- your so easy to read!" the young detective grinned as he watched Todoroki light up at the fact someone thinks his father is trash.

"Also, I may have read your file. Which explains how I know your name.... which explains why I'm trusting you..." Shin sheepishly trailed off, not wanting to look him in the eyes. "But no need to worry! I read everyone's file so you are all in the same boat!" Shin states.

Shouto sighed, not all that worried. he decided to ask one more question. "So why did you leave the class earlier?"

"Oh! I just needed some fresh air." He chuckled. His stomach growled, "That's right, it's lunch! Or at least, I think it is? Not too sure how U.A.'s timetable works. Anyways~ Let's eat together Todoroki!" Shin said, walking over to the bench he was sitting at and sat next to him. He unpacked his lunch and began to eat, so did Todoroki.

"Now, I know since I read your file, that you're not interested in making friends. But I'm going to become your friend anyway since you know what I'm actually here for." Shin paused.

Todoroki sighed, they surely were very weird, but Todoroki didn't seem to care anymore. He just nodded in acknowledgement.

"Maybe you could even help me with my case! We could be like Sherlock Holmes and Watson!" Shin exclaims in delight while clapping his hand enthusiastically.

"How 'bout no."

"How 'bout yes!"

"No."

"Yes!"

"No."

"Yes!"

"No."

"Yes!"

Todoroki sighed in defeat. "Fine. Just let me eat my cold soba in peace."

"Yes! I won't let you down my trusty Watson!"
