Superhero [5SOS]

Issue 5

Running over to them, they climb into the jet that would take them to the downtown area where Thunderous zapping people with his lightning. As they fly over they watch as people are zapped. 

“SmAsh, CalPal, I want your two down there getting people to safety.” Mike-Ro-Wave orders. SmAsh and CalPal get dropped down from the bottom of the jet, landing on a roof top as the other’s continue, trying to locate Thunderous. 

“The cloud. He’s up there.” Forestry points to the large cloud above them. “I’ve gotta get up there. I’m the only one that can make it up there without us having to go up in the jet.” 

“I’m not letting you go alone. You’ll have to take me with you. FLuke can go down and help SmAsh and CalPal.” Mike-Ro-Wave stands to his feet going to the evacuation door. Forestry gives a worried look, but jumps from the door first, making an air currant under her. Mike-Ro-Wave jumps after, landing on the air currant.

“I hope you realize what you’re doing.” He shouts to her. She shrugs and nods, knowing what she was doing wasn’t something that happened often, it was normally a wing it thing.

“Fools. You think just because you’re a band of misfits, that you can beat me?” How Thunderous new that they were coming they didn’t care about, they just needed to find a way to defeat him.

“A little bit yeah.” Forestry smirks throwing s fire ball at the villain in front of her. He blocks it with a thunder clap. Mike-Ro-Wave strikes back with a strike of lightning, making each of them gasp. He’d never done that before, after all even thought is power was to copy a power for a short time, never had to done with without seeing it first. Maybe it was some kind of after math from what happened before. No matter it was still puzzling to the hero.

“A Mimic I see. Rare to see, you’d be useful to me.” Thunderous smirked as he moved closer to Mike-Ro-Wave. Forestry moved into action, remembering that Clouds, were just water and air. She could manipulate both. She clenched her fist, making the water and air separate from each other, causing the cloud they were on to leave them. Forestry makes a new cloud under her and Mike-Ro-Wave using the water and air from before.

“Smooth, but not all that helpful.” Mike-Ro-Wave says as the two cloud come together, making the two stand next to each other again. 

“Better then him getting his hands on you.”

“I guess you’re right. Thank you. But we’ve got a villain to defeat.” Or at least try. Mike-Ro-Wave still doubted that they could do any kind of damage to Thunderous. Five heroes that might as well be sidekicks, were trying to beat a villain that not even a true hero could defeat.

“So what is it that you can do girl? Control water or air?” Thunderous came floating back to the on a new cloud of his own. 

“Both.” Giving away secrets like that, might not be amazing to give away to someone like Thunderous. 

“Fire, water, and air… What else might you be able to do? Can you control lightning too? Thunder? What about the earth? If you’re that powerful, you could help me destroy the world.” So that was his plan. To destroy the world.

“No one would ever help you do a thing like that.” Forestry snaps at him, ready to protect herself and Mike-Ro-Wave if Thunderous attacked.

“We’ll see about that one girlie.” Thunderous raised his hand, sending a bolt of lightning flying at them. Both shocked for a second, but Mike-Ro-Wave jumps letting the bolt hit him. He continued to fall, as Thunderous sent another bolt at Forestry, leaving her stunned at she tried to save Mike-Ro-Wave. As she fell onto the cloud at her feet, her mind only let her believe that she had failed them. She failed Dr. FLuke, CalPal, SmAsh, and most of all Mike-Ro-Wave. She also failed the rest of the world. 

“Weak to lightning, I bet thunder drives you nuts. Hope you like getting your hands dirty girlie, because you’re helping me now.” Thunderous laughed over her, as she lay there motionless. She couldn’t move, her chest was heavy. It was like when Superman had Kryptonite around him; it drained his energy slowly. And that was exactly what Thunderous was doing to Forestry.
