Kari's POV
a long school day counts for a good long nap. I get home and throw my bag down while jumping on the couch to go on my phone.
I click the facebook app and scroll down meaninglessly. Being bored with no one to hang out with is tough but it's how i live. I find myself falling asleep.
the next morning
isi never picked me up this morning which is quite weird. He never beeped his horn or anything so i presumed he was late.
i get to school right before the bell and i see isiah and elizabeth at the corner of the steps talking.
"why the hell didn't he pick me up!?" i think to myself
"If you frown anymore you'll get wrinkles" i jump in surprise and turn around nearly punching the person behind me.
"Mind your own business yoongi. Stop talking to me i don't know you"
"You don't know much people do you kari?" he says with a smug look on his face.
"fuck off" i storm off to the bathroom
"Today is definitely gonna be one of these days and i am not looking forward to it" i think out loud
The bell rings as soon as i get into class and surprisingly i am the first one in. The classroom floods with students and the last people to come in are lizzy and isi. The give me a sheepish look but i continue to stare infront of me where the teacher is talking.
Throughout the class Lizzy kept prodding and trying to get my attention. Isi kept giving me a worried look and the teacher seemed to notice.
"Isiah Trafford do you mind sharing what's so interesting about Kari?"
The class goes silent, i go red and Isiah stutters
"N-nothing miss. I was just looking at the time"
The teacher scoffs and rolls her eyes.
"Looking at the time? how about look at the front and learn something."
"o-okay"
The class chuckles
