Chapter 13: Practice

*3rd Person's POV*

[y/n] is there sitting whilst watching all of them practice their songs, he smiles while watching Luka, she's having fun doing the thing she loves the most he couldn't help it. Luka noticed him staring with a smile, she blush immensely but smile whatsoever, Miku noticed this her eyebrows furrowed... Once it's her turn she took up a mic then start her part

All of them clapped at the end of the song, Miku really has a great voice, Alex then went to [y/n] who gave him a mic

[y/n]: Uh... What?

Alex: Wanna give it a go?

[y/n]: But... I don't know If I am a good enough singer

Rose: Come on [y/n]... Please....

[y/n]: Um...

Liza: We really want to hear your voice

Tatsuya: Yeah!!

[y/n]: Uh...

Luka: Please [y/n], for me?

She smiled slightly then tilt her head cutely, he couldn't refuse that face she made when she's begging him for something he just smile and nod, Luka immediately jump on him and envelop the male into an embrace

They are looking at him with their mouths open, except Luka who looked at [y/n] with a smile on her face

Tatsu: H-How? I thought you're singing would still be the same, but it has improve!!

Luka: In the US, we often sing some cover songs of famous artists

Rose: Like who?

Luka: Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Morrisette, KZ Tandingan, and others as well

[y/n]: Well, Luka has been persisting me to sing them, even though she has a beautiful voice

Luka: *Blush* Aww, thank you~

Miku was there in the background as Luka and [y/n] are having their sweet time together, the pinkette often place her head on [y/n]'s shoulder, the latter rest his head on hers. Miku couldn't help but frown, she remembers the time when she neglect him, ditched him, yelled at him, and reject him. But now that he has found acceptance in another who care for him, love him and be considerate of him tore her heart apart.

It was as if that the [y/n] she had known those years ago is somewhat indirectly doing the same thing she did to him years ago during when she broke the promise they made to each other when they were kids.

Him returning to her life feels like she could make up for lost time however fate has played a cruel joke on her by forgetting who he was, she blamed herself for everything that had happened and this is her retribution for the damage she cause to him.

'Miku.... Miku!!'

Her train of thought was interrupted by Rose who looked at the teal haired girl with a worried expression plastered on her face

Rose: You okay? You spaced out there

Miku: Y-Yeah...

Tatsu: Are you sure? You're crying

Miku: H-Huh?

She place her hands on her cheeks and it feels wet she looked at it, indeed it was tears she had been unconsciously crying

Miku: Y-Yeah, I just remembered a movie I watched last night, the ending is a tear jerker

Liza: Oh... Well, okay

Luka on the other hand is not convince she looked at Miku with an unreadable expression she then look straight ahead

Luka: Hey, it's getting late we should probably go

The look at the clock it was 6:30 in the evening

Liza: Wow I didn't even noticed

They all packed up and went outside the school the went their separate way, Miku remembered what Luka said; 'You know what? I'm glad that he lost his memory... That way he forget his feelings for you, this time I'm not going to back down giving my all for him'

Miku: '[y/n]... I swear I will make things right'

Luka: 'Miku even though you're his childhood friend in the past... But that's what it was the "Past" this is the present, I won't let you hurt [y/n] again, I love him, I am his present and soon I will be his future'
