2-Tears after Death

"She's gone."One of the paramedics reported back to Mrs Hopper."We did everything we could to save her,I offer my condolences ."The Paramedic whose name is Justin continued. I knew this by the name-tag hanging on the pocket of his shirt .He covered Little Mian's body after closing her eyes.A six year old killed right under everyone's nose.

When We found Mian drenched in blood Gigi requested a first aid kit to stop the bleeding from Mian's  neck.While Gigi did her best to prevent  Mian losing a lot of blood Kendall called the Paramedics.They reckon someone straggled then stabbed her given how deep the two major wounds in her neck were.

"Miss Hadid ,the police are outside  waiting for your statement."Mrs hopper informed in a worried tone.The occurrence of Mian's death seemed to have shaken Mrs Hopper a little bit.Her skin looked more pale than it has ever been.
"Oh ..uhm yes,Excuse me."Gigi replied still in a state of shock before stepping into the deck to meet the police men.

"Are you okay ?"Kendall Asked me massaging my shoulders briefly to console me.Having a strangers hands on my skinny shoulders felt uncomfortable so I brushed her hands slightly away and shifted from her.
"Why wouldn't I be?"I questioned back rather harshly.Kendall looked at me with an expression that reflected how offended she was.

"My apologies ,Miss Jenner.Kiana is not known to have manners."Mrs Hopper responded to comfort Kendall who only nodded before staring down at the floor like it was the most interesting thing in the room .The room that still had a corpse.
Since when was Mrs Hopper nice and considerate of other people's feelings?

"I didn't mean to upset you.Death is a horrible thing to witness. I just wanted to make sure you feeling okay."Kendall explained with a soft and low voice .

"Worry about how Mian is feeling about being dead instead ."

"Stop it !Kiana,Kendall is just trying to be nice ."Sasha scolded. I almost forgot she was even downstairs with us.In fact Amelia and Elena were there too.
"I need some air ."I stepped out and walked passed Gigi and the police men.

The clouds were darkening as the wind blew colder. I instantly regretted not wearing anything warmer than my tank-top .The paramedics put Mian's body inside the ambulance .Tears I had no idea I was holding back fell from my eyes.Seconds later  ,my body crushed down on the cold rough pavement and I sobbed harder than I have in a long,long time.

Someone's smooth arms enveloped me so I leaned into the person crying my eyes out.My body felt weak and exhausted .The tears refused to stop flowing out no matter how many deep breaths I took to calm down.
"Let it all out "The person encouraged before joining the club in crying.

I regained self control to realize the arms wrapped around me belonged to None other than Gigi Hadid.In the process of getting up from the ground I noticed the ambulance along with the police vehicle had already departed.Also a good amount of my mucus was unfortunately left pasted on Gigi's fancy jacket.

"Would you like me to adopt you?"to be honest her question took me by surprise. I'm certain my breathing stopped for a minute or two.There was only one possible answer to that question ,Even a fool would obviously say  YES!! Yes!!!! .

Yet my mouth had a mind of its own.
"I'm not Lesbian Hadid."I replied with no emotion looking straight at her gorgeously perfect eyes.A frown took over her face as a sign of confusion.My next statement enlightened her.

"You look like you are asking for my hand in Marriage."I said that Referring to her position. She was down on one knee and I held her hand in hopes of assisting her up .Gigi erupted in a fit of laughter.finally understood the joke.

Together we got inside the orphanage walking closely next to each other.Gigi informed Mrs Hopper about her intentions of adopting me.The look on Mrs Hopper's face was priceless!She looked like she has been constipated for a good decade.

Everyone gathered downstairs to say their goodbyes to me except for Sasha. I hugged everyone present excluding Elena and her mother (Mrs Hopper).While Gigi signed the necessary documents I made my way upstairs on a mission to find Sasha.No way in hell was I leaving before seeing her.

I strolled upstairs into our room to find Sasha seated legs crossed on the floor with her wild brown curls covering her face as she looked down on the floor. I could still see the tears that slowly fell from her face.Her eyes met mine hesitantly.A frown was painted on her beautiful face.She was hurting because of me. I knew nothing I said would take away that pain but my wish was to ease it.

"Sasha I will always love you.This is not goodbye."

"Well it's definitely not an I'll see you later because guess what? You won't be here later!"Sasha said in between hiccups."You promised it will always be me and you,Kiana.Us against Mrs Hopper and whatever the world threw at us yet you just leaving me here to suffer alone!!I never cared how many times Mrs Hopper beat us up because I was with you.You promised!You promised Kiana you Promised-!!"Sasha kept on yelling at me getting angrier .

"Sasha if you were the one Gigi decided to adopt ,I would be happy for you despite how it would have hurt me!Why can't you be happy for me!?Is it my fault that I'm getting adopted?"

Her next words left my heart with so much melancholy.Never in a million years did I think she could say something like that to me.

"Just go and enjoy your 'Fancy new life 'but remember that at the end of the day you'll always be like all of us here.An orphan.Except you the orphan with memory loss. You don't even know where you came from ."I was speechless. For the first time in my life I didn't know what to say. I was FLABBERGASTED therefore I left the room without a second glance.

"I'm ready to go now ." I announced when I returned empty handed.Gigi and Kendall looked at me weirdly.
"Where's your stuff? I thought you'd bring your things along."Kendall decided to break the awkward silence.

"Actually I'm not leaving with anything except for what I'm wearing right now.Its not like I own much anyway."Gigi seemed suspicious .The truth was ,I was avoiding being in the same room as Sasha to take my belongings.

Gigi had signed all the necessary documents and Mrs Hopper informed her that in three weeks time she had to come back to meet with social workers but either than that she was my legal parent.We made our way to Gigi's car and Mrs Hopper shut the door of the orphanage quicker than expected.Someone was eager to kick me out .

" okay this Mrs Hopper lady is so creepy "Kendall commented while I was amazed by Gigi's car.The car seats were the most comfortable thing my butt has ever sat on.
"Look Kendall, I know Mrs Hopper seems like a bitch but once you get to know her you'll realize she's even worse than that .."

A whole new world filled with adventures was waiting for me. I could feel it in my bones.

AUTHOR's note:the part about vampires and details about Mian's death was supposed to be in this chapter but got cut off when I was uploading it. I WILL REWRITE THE REMAINING PART ON ITS OWN .IT will BE ON THE Next Chapter Which I Will PUBLISHED sooooon
