Flames~Chapter 3

The orange haired girl looked at you and your friend in shock and confusion. She suddenly took out a paper and looked at your friend, studying them.

" Hmm, nah.. They don't even look that similar. " You barely heard her murmur as she shoved the paper in her very large backpack.

" Heya! Nice to meet you uh, Y/n. " She shook your hand with a big smile on her face. " And you are..? " She said, looking at your friend. " Oh he's called Friend I suppose.. " You shrugged. Friend waved at her, happily.

" Well, I'm Skout! "

After awhile of walking and talking we finally went to a stop once we reached the house again. " Wow! " Skout rushed over to the house and looked inside. " Toth was right! The Nomad definitely lives here! " Skout smiled, looking at pots and pans piled up in the sink.

" Toth? Wait, Nomad? Like, The Nomad Of Nowhere? " I exclaimed. " No one has seen the Nomad is years. "

You saw your friend nervously put his hand behind his head but  you quickly ignored it. " Yup! Me, Toth, and some other people are on a search to find the Nomad. Don made a deal with Toth to help her with something and I really want to help out with helping her.. if that makes sense! "

" Don? Who is that? " You asked. Your friend seemed to not be in the house anymore. Did he need to get something? " Oh, he's- " Skout was interuptted by a sudden yell. " We found you now, Nomad! " You look at Skout as she guides you outside. You watched as a group of people began to run everywhere and light things on fire.

You put your hand over your mouth when you saw your friend. " Wait, is he the Nomad!? " You exclaimed. " I don't really think so but there is a really good chance.. I need to convince Toth that he isn't the Nomad even though he could be.. " She waved goodbye as she rushed over to " Toth ".

You looked around, panicking. The forest had caught on fire and the fire was spreading quickly. You felt the air getting warm and watched as plants quickly wiltered and died. " We have to leave Toth! We're going to die if we stay! " You heard Skout yell desperately but you couldn't see her through the ashes and flames. " No, Skout! We are so close! We can't flee! " You guessed that was Toth.

Your eyes grew wide as you heard a loud Crack. You watched as a large, green vine broke and began to fall where you were standing. You tried to move but you couldn't. You screamed as the vine got close but something shoved you forwards. You finally managed to open your eyes after a few moments. Everything was blurry and bright.

Before you could process everything someone grabbed your arm and dragged you away.
