OUAT Chapter 5

Present, Storybrooke

Lily's POV

I told Killian "what I was about to tell you, will make you feel sad, and that's ok if you want to walk out on me." in sign language. He told me "no, I promise to you, I wouldn't walk out on you, because you need me around, cause your parents is capture by Evil Queen." in sign language. As he hold my hand, I explain to him what is happened in my past. I also told Killian that I was 24 year olds during that time.

Before Henry, before everything, New York

Lily's POV

After Emma get out of jail, I was working for New York Police Department. As I work, I start to notice something off about me, but I decide to ingored it. I was little fall back in my cases, because I was in competition for position as sheriff against someone else, who is hearing, but stupid. I start to notice that my cases were get full, and I can't focus on one case at same time. New York Police Department don't think that I can do anything enough, because I'm deaf. They knew me too well through my older sister, Emma. Until one terrible fateful day for me, a case were put on my table, and I'm curious, of course, I take it and look through. It was about 20 year olds woman who kidnapped 5 or 6 year olds boy. That boy's name was Ethan Danvers. He was born deaf, growing up by his hearing parents, who refused to put him in deaf school, or willing to learn sign language. I get really confused, cause who know that case might be connect to another cases, so I told my boss, who know me well, and she think that I can do anything, and she is nice. I told her "is there any more cases linked to this case?" in sign language. She told me "yeah, I will get box of cases." in sign language. As I walk toward my desk, someone told me "go home to your sister to make sure that she don't get in any more of trouble". I told him "it's her problem, not mine!!!!". When my boss show up with box of cases, she told him "left her alone, you don't know what she capable of". She also told him "you're fired". She put box of cases on my desk, and I told her "thanks you once again." in sign language. She told me "no problem." in sign language. I open box of cases and look through all the cases. One of the old case catch my eye, and I take that case, and look through. It was about 25 year olds woman who kidnapped 6 year olds deaf girl. But unfortunately, that girl is already died, while that woman want girl's parents for trade. I decide to tell my boss that I will go after deaf boy, Ethan's case. She told me to be careful. As I walk toward my motorcycle, and I'm wear blue jacket with wolf symbol on it's back. The reason why I'm different than everyone around me is that I always am wear blue jacket, and everyone give me weird look, but I don't care. I got on my motorcycle, and spin off to Ethan Danvers' house, and I walk toward the door and knock on it. Mid-30 years old couple answer the door, and I told them "may I come in, I heard about your case". They willing to let me in. Ethan's parents name is Jeffrey, and Christine, and they told me that they are very worried sick about their son, Ethan. I told them "when the last time did you see your son, Ethan?" in sign language. They told me "we see him at his school, as we come by to pick him up after school, one of his teacher told us that he gone missing". They also told me that they don't hear from his kidnapper for a while. I told them "stay put, cause who know that kidnapper might want to contact with you guys, while you do that, I will go out to look for your son". They told me "please save our son". As I walk toward motorcycle, and take it for spin. I ride it through the forest, and I spot a weird cabin in the isolate area. I got off my motorcycle, and put my blue jacket on it. I call my boss and told her "there is a weird cabin in the isolate area and I believe that is where deaf 5 or 6 year olds boy, Ethan is". I also told her "please send backup". She told me "ok, be careful". I end call with my boss. I pick my gun from my motorcycle, and walk toward cabin. I don't have bullet vest on myself, so I have to be careful, as I walk toward cabin. I kick the door down, draw my gun, and walk into the cabin. 20 year olds woman show up with rifle, and told me to not approach that boy, but I can't hear what she say, so she shot me, and I hid under the table. She missed it. I drop my gun down, and try to crawl toward the bedroom, try to not get noticed by that crazy woman. Backup not arrive yet. I open the door, and there is Ethan, deaf 5 or 6 year olds boy, who looked really scared. I told him "I'm here to help you, backup should be here soon." in sign language. He told me "that crazy woman want my parents." in sign language. I was surprised that she want his parents. I told him "come on, we don't want that crazy woman to notice us, isn't we?" in sign language. He crawl toward me quietly, and I hold him, as we walk quietly. All of suddenly, that crazy woman shot me on my left shoulder, and I fall down, along with Ethan. Bullet is in my left shoulder right now, and I yelled in pain. Backup is arrived, and I try to crawl toward the door, along with Ethan, but that crazy woman closed the door. She told me "you shall not pass through the door, cause you're fool!!!!!". She take Ethan, and he yelled, and cry at same time. I spot my gun on the ground, and I try to crawl toward that gun, but painful on my left shoulder get really worst. I use my right hand, grab that gun, and point it at that crazy woman. I make eye contact with Ethan, told him to stay stall.

Boss' POV

I arrive to the cabin, in the isolate area, I spot Lily's motorcycle, along with her blue jacket. Backup arrived, and I told them "please target your guns at 20 year olds crazy woman, and not deaf 5 or 6 year olds boy, Ethan, and that seems to be crazy woman kept Ethan hostage". We heard shot.

Lily's POV

My shot hit crazy woman, and she fall down, still hold Ethan. She get up, and walk toward me, and she kick my gun away. Ethan get free from that crazy woman's hand, and she decided to shot him down, and he is died. I yelled "Noooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!".... I braced for my life, when my boss broke in, shot at that crazy woman, and she is dead. I fall sleep, cause I lose way too much blood from my left shoulder.

Hospital

Lily's POV

I woke up in the hospital, I look at my left shoulder, and big bandage cover my left shoulder. My boss told me that I should take job off, get some rest. I told her "I quit my job, as police, so please do tell someone that he get job as sheriff." in sign language. She told me "why would you quit?" in sign language. I told her "I don't know, but I don't want everyone to give me weird look, and they knew that I'm your favourite worker." in sign language. My boss told me "maybe you shall consider your job as bails bondperson, you can put bad guys' ass in jail." in sign language. When Ethan's parents show up, my boss left. I told them "I'm sorry, it's my fault...". They told me "no, it's not your fault, you try your best". They give me get well soon card, and Ethan's dragon stuffed animal. I told them "once again, I'm sorry for your son's lose". They told me "you're invited to attend our son's furenal, and there will be sign language interpreter". I told them "why did you guys give me your son's dragon stuffed animal"? They told me "oh, that was Ethan's favourite animal, and his wish is to meet deaf person who can do anything, and that person is you". They left, and I look at dragon stuffed animal, and cry.

One week later

Lily's POV

I was at Ethan's funeral, and I walk home, along with my blue jacket, and dragon stuffed animal. Emma was at our condo, and I enter my room, put dragon stuffed animal on my bed. I'm look at my left shoulder, and bullet is gone, but scar is there, and might be there for the whole of my life.

Present, Storybrooke

Lily's POV

That was my past, Killian, and I kept think that was my fault. I'm the one who fail someone so young during that time, luv.... Killian told me "can I open this box, luv?" in sign language. I told him "sure...." in sign language.

Killian's POV

I open my girlfriend, Lily's box and there are dragon stuffed animal, and I told her "that was not your fault, that boy was too precious for this world, and he is already gone." in sign language. She told me "that was the reason why I'm afraid to be mother, cause I will fail this child, because of that boy." in sign language. I take her hand, and told her "I just knew that you will be great mother someday, who know you might spend your whole life with someone who love you so much." in sign language.

Lily's POV

I told Killian "all I want to spend my whole life with, is you, luv." in sign language. He's cry in happiness, and I told him "who know that you will be great father someday?" in sign language. Together we hug, and he told me "do you still have scar on your left shoulder from shot?" in sign language. I told him "yeah, I do, and I guess that it will be there my whole life." in sign language. I told Killian "I need to change from shirt to top tank shirt." in sign language. He told me "then cuddle, with dragon stuffed animal?" in sign language. I told him "you're way too sweet to me, luv." in sign language. I also told him "I'm worried sick about my parents, and I can't stop think about them..." in sign language. Killian told me "me too, luv, me too, but don't worry we will find them, together, and we will won, for sure." in sign language. I smile at him, as I change from shirt to top tank shirt, and I'm cuddle with Killian, along with dragon stuffed animal.
