Dulce POV
Ski decided that it would be a good idea for him to invite Dina, Lucas and their daughter Luna to have a play date with Angelica. Being that he was inviting his ex, I decided it would only be right to invite Joseph, his girlfriend, and her neice. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get Angelica ready because I had a study session to go to, so the dressing and styling of our daughter was in Ski's hands. Hopefully I'll be back in time to greet our guests at least........Ski POV
I gave Angelica a bath and washed her hair. I put some cream in it that I see Dulce use, and I blow dry it. Okay, back to square one. Messy head. I gave her a tie dye shirt and some khaki shorts to put on, and sat her in front of me.
"What am I supposed to do, Angelica?"
I said, and she looked back at me and shrugged. She returned back to the picture book she was flipping through. Something tells me she's not in the mood for a playdate at all. Either that or she's frustrated with my hair styling techniques. I finally decided on giving her some braids. I'm not the best braider, but it is pretty much the only thing I know how to do. After about 30 minutes I finished. I gave her some accessories to put in it, again something that I saw Dulce use. I took her to the bathroom to show her her new do.
"Petty daddy!"
She began clapping and jumping around. So that's why she was upset.
"Let's go outside so we can send some pictures to mommy."
I said, picking her up and bringing her with me out of the front door.Text Messages

Dina POV
The only reason I agreed to this playdate was so I could get Luna off of my hands for a bit. Lately she's been bratty, and I like, literally have to give her my credit card e
very five minutes for all of these toys off of amazon. Whatever. It's not like it's my money in the first place. Lucas drove in silence, and Luna was in the back seat with her IPad. She began tugging on my neckline. This meant that she wanted to buy something.
"Not right now, nana. We're on the way to go play we don't have time for packages."
I said, removing her hands from around my neck. Lucas looked at me, and quickly returned his eyes back towards the road.
"NOW! NOW! NOW, MOMMY, NOW!"
Luna yelled, and began kicking the back of my chair and pummeling the seat with her tiny fists. I sighed.
"Here, give it to me. And leave me alone after this, Luna. This is beginning to get completely out of hand- six hundred dollars?!"
I yelled, turning back towards her. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"Luna, baby, we are not going to buy a Barbie Dream House for $600. That is too much money, sweetheart."
I said, explaining the concept to her. Her eyes began to get teary, as her bottom lip quivered quickly. This is not good. After a few moments of her screeching, crying, I began to cry too, and eventually gave in. I placed the order for the Barbie Dream House, and put my wallet in my purse.
"Why the hell would you do that?"
Lucas asked, coming to a stop at a red light.
"What did I do?"
I asked, completely unaware of what I did wrong.
"Stop buying her all of that unnecessary ass shit, bruh! She has enough!"
He yelled, striking me across the face, and messing up my eyelash set on my left eye.
"Don't do this while she's in the car, please Lucas."
I pleaded, looking in the mirror at my eyelash. I had no glue with me, so I decided to take the other one off as well.
"If you listened to what I say, we wouldn't be in this predicament, now would we?"
He asked, stroking my head roughly, showing his lack of care for me. I rolled my eyes, used to this type of treatment.
"When we get there, y'all know the deal right?"
He asked, looking in the rearview mirror at Luna. She looked away, nervously.
"Right?"
He raised his voice, and she jumped.
"Yes, daddy."
She mumbled, and began to suck on her fingers. She did that whenever she got nervous. He looked at me expectantly.
"Yeah."
I spoke softly. I can't believe that this is now my life. Oh well. It is what it is.
