Having Luke

Chapter 1

"First day of school gives me a new year of hell" I say as me and luke are in the car. I hope I get into track so I can free myself from all the bullshit that's going to happen. Luke looks at me as though he knows just what I'm thinking, he turns the radio up loud enough that I'm surprised the speakers don't go out. He rolls all the windows down and let's his hair flow perfectly through the wind. I sit there staring out the window watching the waves hit the shore wishing I could be out there and not going to school. Luke gets in his usual parking spot and grabs his bags and we walk in. It's crazy, students every where, freshmen's looking like lost puppy's, teachers giving students schedules. Luke goes off to his friends and I see a couple girls I know. I walk over to them and they start talking about stupid ass manicures and stuff. I leave to get my schedule and find out I have

Ap English, Ap history, Trig, spanish 2, free period, environmental science, athletics. I meet up with Luke and find out we have history, trig and environmental science together, along with athletics. I make my way to English and find a seat In the middle of class and take my notebook and a pen out. I don't see many people I know except for a couple of girls and one of Luke's friends, I think his name is James or something? As the teacher walks in she is dressed in a red dress with heels and a slight touch of mascara. she seems to be about 27 or 28. The class goes by fast and she seems like a cool teacher and then I have her one more time for my second English class. She gives us an 800 word essay about our summer. great just what I need. Next I got to my History class and sit next to Luke since he is the only person I recognise. The teacher seems hard but disciplined, great just what Luke needs. He might actually do work this year! the class seemed long and boring and I caught him texting on his phone many times. After that class I have trig with Luke again. I hate math and surprisingly Luke is pretty good at it. the teacher seems like one of those who goes with the flow. She gives us a front and back worksheet to see what we know and I take almost all of the class period to finish. after that class I head to Spanish which is always a joy for me. except I see the biggest arrogant guy there, Seth Larson. He is so perverted and a jock it's shit. Even Luke doesn't have a good vibe towards him. He whistles as I walk past him and I'm so tempted to slap him. The teacher walks in as I sit down in a seat next to a girl. As the teacher begins introducing himself the girl next to me nudges my arm. I look at her and she whispers her name and so do I. she asks me if I'm Luke's sister and I almost nod my head but stop. I reply "practically". as that class is over I finally get to eat. I get in line and find the girl from Spanish. I get a sub sandwich with some lays potato chips. She invites me to sit at her table with some other girls I recognise from some of my classes. I look at Luke from across the room and his eyes meet mine. He gives me a slight nod saying it's ok and she leads me to the table. The girls aren't that girly, kinda like me but one of them gives me a weird feeling. Her name is Macy and she keeps asking me stupid ass questions. I walk to the library for my free period and just listen to music, and go on twitter. It feels like only 10 minutes went by when the bell rings. I walk to environmental science and walk in. Great I see stupid ass Seth. I sit down in the seat in front of Luke as the girl from Spanish takes the one next to me. Seth sits behind me with Luke next to him. I can tell Luke is fighting the urge to punch him right now. As that class goes by the teacher gives us a mini Quiz just to see what we need to learn. As me and Luke grab our athletic stuff someone trips me and I fall on my face but quickly stand up to see Seth laughing his ass off. " fuck off jackass" I say to him but am pinned against the lockers with a very strong grip on my arms. I try to get out but he is to strong for me. he looks me in eyes and asks what I said, I reply "fuck off jackass" I close my eyes getting ready to feel the sting of my jaw but it never comes only to feel the grip go away. I open my eyes to see Luke on top of Seth beating the shit out of his jaw. I run to Luke trying to pry him off and it actually worked. As Luke gets off he shouts at Seth " if u ever touch her again no matter what she says I swear you'll be fucking dead". And with that we left. As I change and head out to the track for athletics, I over hear some girls talking about how big Seth's D is and mentally gag and try to get that out of my mind. they tell us to jog the track until the end of class which is only like 25 minutes. every girl is practically walking on their 7th lap and I'm still just listening to my music being one lap ahead Of them. As we all leave one of the coaches pulls me aside and asks what type of event I would like to do and I reply with the mile and 200 meter. As I walk back to Luke's car I see James running towards me. I stop in my tracks and turn to him only to have a piece of paper in my hands and the cutest smile I have seen from him.
