Chapter 5

I feel the sand next to me sink in and see Luke looking wide eyed at me or at least my jaw. "what the fuck happened to you!!!!????" he stands up and screams at me. I try to talk but scream again in pain as my jaw tries to move. I walk to my phone and get on notes an type that Seth did it. he literally screams and I'm not saying a little scream or a girl I'm talking about a scream I've never heard. one that seems like he is literally going to kill him. he clenches his fist and walks to the port a potty and aimlessly start hitting it as hard as he can to where it flips over. I rush up to him and hug him as he turns around with tears ready to spill. I never see him cry and this scares me so much. he looks at me and wraps me in a bear hug to where I can't move but I don't really want to. I feel safe in his arms, like nothing can harm me. this time it's me to comfort him as he cries his eyes out. I wipe away his tears just centimetres away looking down at his lips and at his eyes again. "I'm so so sorry I snapped at u in history, I'm so so so sorry I wasn't there for you with Seth, please forgive me boo bear" he says using my old nickname he gave me when we were younger. "Luke please don't be sorry, I can't help but worry about you and you can't help worry about me but what Seth did please don't blame yourself, that's the last thing u need to do" I say in a whisper, coming out jibberish because of my clenches jaw. he goes over to my bag and slips his shirt over his head giving me a full view of his abs and he lifts my arms up and slips the oversize black shirt on. smells like him so much. he picks me up bridal style and carries me to his car and slides me in the passenger seat. "where are we going" I barely whisper, wondering if he heard. "the hospital, then the police, I'm not letting u suffer and I'm sure gonna make sure they lock his ass up for this" he replies bluntly like he thinks it's an everyday conversation. we get to the hospital and he holds my hand as we run into it. "help I need a nurse I think her jaw is broken" he says rushed to the lady at the front desk. wow he makes me have butterflies. he's my best friend not my boyfriend I mentally slap myself. immediately a doctor comes out and rushes me into a room and he looks at it. Luke is still holding onto my hand and I smile. The doctor gives me a mirror to look at it. HOLY FUCKING SHIT! ITS PURPLE!! I yell at the doctor. "how did this happen Samantha?" "well umm this guy at school tripped me and I feel on the concrete and my jaw hit first and then he have me an upper cut as hard as he could on my jaw again" I say scared as to what Luke was going to say. "OMG I just talked normal it can't be that bad then" I say. fuck he says I have a broken jaw damn! "that's going to cost lots". "well we already called the police and there on there way to ask questions and hopefully the person that did this to you will pay for it" he says reassuringly. YES. "that means that son of a bitch will actually pay for this whole thing"! Luke chants. Right then 2 police officers come into the room. Luke tells them everything so I don't talk so much ugh they asked so many questions. After like 1 hour they finally leave to go get Seth. Luke calls my dad but it goes to voicemail but he does leave a message and explains everything even the guy and money wise and police. that's one long voicemail lolz. He calls back like 10 minutes and is furious. "where the hell is this shit bag and he better pay for my daughters broken jaw or he really is going to pay I'm coming home right now baby girl, I will have that meeting some other time and if he refuses to pay we're going to have a trial and I will be there to represent you. Luke I need you to stay with her at the hospital I don't want you to skip school but at least try to go after lunch if you do. I want that Fuck locked up!" he yells Into the phone. "I know daddy Luke said he won't get near me, the police are trying to get him in custody right now and thank you for coming home, I'm sorry I ruined your business trip, I love you a lot, the doctors need to talk to you though dad" I say handing the phone to the doctor. I don't know when I fell asleep but I didn't wake up until 3 days later.
