What made me blush in the end was not the natural embarrassment of the moment when I could tell he'd caught me trying to hold his gaze only then to let mine scamper to safety; what made me blush was the thrilling possibility, unbelievable as I wanted it to remain, that he might actually like me, and that he liked me in just the way I liked him.

Princess Cèline portrait: First photograph

The first official photograph of the Princess of Wales has been unveiled.

Gabrielle Hudson was the photographer behind what is now being called the Icon of Princesses photograph.

The photographer had one sittings with the Princess.

The portrait is now on display at London's National Portrait Gallery, which commissioned the work. The princess's sister in law the duchess of Cambridge is the gallery's patron.

"Are you guys done having meetings behind my back yet?" I asked as I walked into the room.

"Oh, Cèline, so nice of you to finally grace us with your presence." Queen Elizabeth said.

"Yes, granny, what theories have you all come up with now?" I asked curtsying to my grandmother before taking a seat next to Beatrice.

"No, theories, Cèline, just concerns." She answered.

"What kind of concerns?" I asked.

"Cèline's, we know about your engagement to Daniel." My father said.

"I do not know what you are talking about." I said.

"Cèline, we found the ring in the vault." William said.

"Invasion of privacy." I said.

"I am the Queen, there is no such thing as invasion of privacy." She said.

"Do you all not have any respect for me? I asked you all to give me space and yet you all had toe go and ignore me and snoop around." I said.

"Cèline, we're just worried." Harry said.

"There is no reason for you all to be worried. I have the right to keep certain things in my life private and this was one of them." I said.

"Cèline-"

"I will never trust anyone of you ever again." I said.

"That's a bit dramatic." Harry said.

"Dramatic!" I exclaimed.

"Please, calm down and let's talk about this, Cèline." William said.

"No, I'm over this conversation. Maybe you all can hack into my phone and find out how I really feel about you all." I said.

"Was I too harsh?" I asked Ellie as we laid on the floor in my closet.

"Too harsh? Cèline, you told the Queen of England, that you would never trust her again. You are insane." Ellie said.

"So, definitely too harsh." I said rolling my eyes.

"Cèline, you know they just want to be there for you like a family who genuinely cares when someone they love is hurt and is not telling them anything but shutting them out. Yes, they were wrong to go snooping through your things but if it was one of your brothers, you would have snooped your way into British Intelligence to find the problem." She said, making me sigh.

Ellie was right, I would have absolutely done that and maybe even more but I was not going to tell her that.

"Okay." I said.

"You need to apologize for the way you spoke to them, Cèline." She said.

"Okay." I said.

"I'm serious." She said.

"Yeah, I know." I said.

"Besides calling me to vent about your family, what else did you need me here for?" Ellie asked.

"I have another date with Demarco." I answered.

"Where are you two going?" She asked.

"No, I'm cooking dinner for him." I replied.

"No, make him help you cook dinner and you should definitely wear that silk peach dress and no make up just a little bit of lip gloss with your hair down." Ellie said.

"See, this is why you are my best friend, Ellie." I said.

"I thought it was because I was smart." She said.

"Who told you that?" I asked.

"Hey!"

"Just kidding." I said laughing.

I enjoyed our date last night. Sorry, I wasn't there when you woke up but today is my last day here and I have to do public engagements with the Queen before I leave but look under your bed. I left you something. I'll see you soon.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry announce first pregnancy

Royal baby news! Duchess Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child.

Kensington Palace announced the news on Twitter early Monday.

Markle is about 12 weeks pregnant, according to the palace, and is due in the spring.

The couple, officially the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, is currently on a 16-day tour of Australia and New Zealand, with their arriving in Sydney, holding hands, over the weekend.

The couple is also scheduled to make stops in Fiji and the Kingdom of Tonga. The palace said it is not making any changes to the schedule which includes over 70 planned events.

Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, is excited about the news and looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild, according to a conference call with palace officials. Ragland accompanied the couple to Australia.

There was no comment on whether Markle's father, Thomas, who did not attend the couple's wedding on May 19, was told of the pregnancy.

The couple shared the news with family and friends at the wedding of Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie, on Friday, where his family -- Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, father Prince Charles, Princess Cèline and King Demarco, Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge -- were all in attendance.

Meghan wore a navy blue dress by Givenchy with a matching navy blue A-line coat that concealed her figure, prompting some speculation online that she could be expecting.

Their child will be seventh in line to the throne after Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince Harry, but not officially a prince or princess.

"This baby will actually not be a prince or a princess or an HRH – His or Her Royal Highness - unless the queen steps in and decides to offer those titles, at which point it will be up to Harry and Meghan to decide if that's what they want for their children," ABC News contributor Victoria Murphy said.

Five months ago, Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, were married in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. The pair met in 2016 after being set up by a mutual friend and were engaged a little over a year later on Nov. 27, 2017.
