Graser looked at his map. He was in the forest to gather supplies and was heading back to the village. He walked on the forest path, listening to the rain fall on the leaves. The rain was cool in contrast with the warm stormy air. Thunder echoed in the sky.

Graser quickened his pace to make sure he wasn't caught in a terrible storm. More thunder rumbled loudly. Graser paused. No lightning came before the thunder. He then realized that it was no thunder.

He slowly turned his head to the shadows. A large whitish grey wolf leaped out and snapped at him. Graser shouted in surprise and slowly backed away. "Easy...easy wolf...please don't hurt me," he said in a low voice. Another wolf crept out of the dark and another, and another.

About five wolves were snarling and growling at him. Graser sighed, "I'm guessing that's my cue to run." The large white wolf seemed to growl in agreement and lunged at him. He turned and ran on the forest path, trying not to slip on the leaves and pine needles. Jaws snapped dangerously close to his bag. He looked behind him.

A light tan she-wolf was running much quicker than the other wolves. She sprung up again and successfully grabbed Graser's bag, pulling him down. The she-wolf circled him, growling loudly. The other wolves eventually joined her. Graser slowly got up and tried to look for an exit.

"Alright guys, that's enough," A voice called from the distance. The wolves immediately dropped their formation. A human shape stepped out of the mist. Graser looked closer at the mystery person. "Stacy?!" He said in shock.

Stacy smiled, "Hi Graser. I see my wolves have decided you would put up a good chase." The large white wolf, who previously looked like he was going to rip Graser to shreds, gave him a friendly, apologetic look. Graser glared at Stacy, "They were going to kill me!" Stacy laughed. "You were never in any harm! My wolves are well trained," Her expression changed, "But I need your help."

Graser blinked in surprise, "You need my help? I'm I hearing this right?" Stacy let out an annoyed sigh. "Look, something bad happened and your the only one who can help me. But we should probably get out of the rain." Lightning struck across the sky and loud thunder followed after. Graser gulped, "Good idea." They made their way back to the village.
