There once was a monster who ate up the stars. There's plenty so he could feast all his life . Poor thing, he had such small ears. When a plane would go by, he wouldn't hear it so then the planes hit him so many times. He felt it like a boulder, however people in the plane did not feel it nor did they see him. For if you are in or have some sort of electricity, you can not see him. One day the big eyed monster started to cry. He was lonely. He had never met anyone else like him, nor did he know how he came into being, he wanted to know why anyone would want a big black hairy monster. The word monster was like a sting or even a slap to the face, but sadly he is stuck with that label, because the darn author of this story calls him that. So anyway, since he was lonely he collected some stars and begun to line them up into people, he loved them! But when he was just floating around with his dragon like wings, he got the munchies. So borrowed a hand. Sort of. He decided he was pretty good at forming things with stars. So he made lots of nice pictures. Oh he figured it would be easier to collect stars by using a big spoon. So he gathered the stars next to him and made a dipper spoon. But sadly it only collected 5 stars, which might seem good but when your collecting stars, that's terrible. So he searched for more stars, and may have nibbled on a few. Then he made a bigger dipper spoon. This was much better! But now he was out of stars so he figured he would travel and make more stars. But day was swiftly coming with shades of dark blue and purple and a touch of pink. He slept in the day so with a big yawn he decided to travel tomorrow night. He started his decent down to earth to sleep in a cave. He caught sight of a flock of birds. The one at the front spoke up "Was that you who rearranged the stars?". Pleased that someone noticed it, he said, "Why yes, that was me! Do you like it?", he said with a big smile, well it didn't even stretch past his nose, for he had a very small mouth. All the birds burst out with laughter. The monster's smile quickly faded. Worry and hurt crept into his eyes. " Are you kidding?! That looks terrible!", the bird said with a mean look in his eyes. The bird nodded to his right then his left and the birds came swarming at the monster. The monster knew he was too slow to fly away, so he curled up in a ball of black fuzz except for his wings that he was using to keep him hovering. A small green tear slipped from his eye. The birds went straight to his wings and pecked away till he was bloodied and hurt. He knew this was it, the birds would pick off his wings and he would fall to his death. He hopped his death would bring someone happiness since no one really knew him, that would mourn for him. The bug monster sucked in a ragged breath and shut his eyes tight and waited for the birds to do just what he expected, he felt him cut loose if his wings, it was an intense pain but he somehow felt free of a burden. As he fell down to earth, the corner of his mouth tipped up. He was free and would be alone no longer. He fell like a late shooting star through the vibrant colored sky. His falling body fell upon a electronics factory. And to that moment on all his peace when lonely went into the electronics but not without his hate for certain types of creatures. So now we have these hate filled electronics, but they are not all bad. They also bring peace if your alone. And that is the story about the monster who ate the stars.
