-THE NEXT DAY-
Dipper was recovering quickly. He hadn't seen Wendy since she put the bandages on him. When he woke up that morning he felt as good as new. Dipper walked down the steps and into the gift shop. "Hey Dipper! I've been looking for you!" Wendy said.
"Well, here I am. Listen, about yesterday..."
"No, no, Dipper, it's fine. I kind of enjoyed it myself." Wendy said.
"You did?!" Dipper said in shock.
"Well, even when they're bruised up, your cheeks are still baby butt soft." Wendy chuckled. Dipper blushed and laughed a little. "Speaking of bruised, how are you feeling?"
"I'm fine. Those bandages really did the job. And so did your kiss, I might add." Dipper said. Wendy began to smile.
"Dipper. Remember all those things I said the other day? About how it might never work out and we wouldn't be friends again?" Wendy asked.
"Well yeah." Dipper replied.
"Well, I take it all back." Wendy said.
"Wendy, are you..." Dipper began.
"Yes, Dipper. Yes, I am." Wendy answered. Dipper's face lit up. "But we have to keep this a secret. If Robbie found out about this he would hurt you harder than he did yesterday."
"Fair point. Also let's promise that if this doesn't work out we will immediately just go back to being friends again." Dipper said.
"Right." Wendy replied.
"So what do you wanna do?" Dipper asked.
"Maybe we could walk in the park." Wendy suggested.
"Okay, sounds fun." Dipper said. When they got to the park, they found a playground.
"Hey, Dipper! I bet you can't fit in that baby swing!" Wendy exclaimed.
"Alright, you're on!" Dipper yelled. Dipper struggled to get his foot through the first hole, but he eventually squeezed it through. Then he got his other foot in the second hole. "Ta-Da!" Dipper shouted.
"Ha ha! You look so stupid!" Wendy shouted. "Oh... I'm sorry..." Wendy said.
"It's fine, I get made fun of all the time back home. I'm used to it." Dipper explained.
"What?! Who could make fun of someone as cool as you?" Wendy asked.
"Well everyone usually calls me a dumb nerd with no life." Dipper told her.
"Kids used to be mean to me, too. One time in fourth grade, this kid tripped me and I fell in a trash can." Wendy said.
"What person would do such a thing?" Dipper asked.
"Well, that person was Robbie..." Wendy said.
"I'll just have to go teach him a lesson then." Dipper said.
"Dipper, no! He's already mad at you, and if he ever finds out about this, well, who knows what he'd do to you?!" Wendy said.
"You're probably right..." Dipper said. "Hey, Wendy?"
"Yeah?" Wendy asked.
"Can you help me get out of this baby swing?" Dipper asked. Wendy laughed and picked Dipper up out of the swing.
