after the two finished up their breakfast, namjoon swiftly latched his hand onto his boyfriend's sleeve, tugging him into the living room to play mario kart. seokjin let out a struggled groan as he gently pried namjoon's fingers from his sleeve.
"sweetie, not now; i have to go to work," seokjin spoke in a soft voice, and the little turned to him with wide eyes and a pout. he shook his head profusely, and then proceeded to whine and throw a large fuss.
"no! i don't want you to leave!" he hollered, shoving his face into his chest. seokjin sighed and stroked his hair.
"honey, you need to calm down; i'll be home around 6ish. you can handle being home alone for that long, can't you?" namjoon felt tears well up in his eyes as he shook his head more. seokjin was afraid the boy was going to get whiplash.
"no! don't leave!" he shouted once more, gently hitting the elder's muscular arms. he let heaved out a sigh as he picked him up, carrying him over to the couch. he laid him down and leaned over him, grabbing his attention.
"i want you to be good while i'm gone, okay? no scattering toys or crayons or snacks. behave for me, honey," he whispered his demands softly and kissed him sweetly on the lips, to which the other greedily responded to. the younger gripped his shoulders tightly as they kissed, his eyes squeezed shut. when they pulled away, he opened them, his cheeks flushed and wet with tears.
"are you going to be good?"
"yes,"
"good. i'll be back in a bit. love you,"
"love you, too."
