Episode 8-Grandpa!

Authors note:So I just picked a random picture from the internet close to how we envisioned the new character to look like but all credits go to the one who actually drew her I will change some of her description to fit this picture but originally I felt she should have brown eyes but anyways that doesn't matter let's just get on with the story!

As the evening progressed I must admit that it was fun but Tanya interrupting us left me quite sour and I felt like going home to clear my mind, we hadn't even talked about what we wanted to do for the project but I could tell that neither of us felt like bringing that up.I suppose Yuzuki noticed the sudden change in atmosphere as he decided it was time to leave but offered to drive me home which I declined at first but he was being a persistent so I agreed to it .As we were about to get up and leave the damn place of course my eyes just have to wander off to a certain tiny man.It was  moments like that,that made me feel like dying but all I could do was pray that the weirdo didn't notice me. "Yuzuki please hurry up I need to get out of here"I say out of pure desperation but since the world really seems to hate me obviously it's too late. "Hey long legs where do ya think you're going"Tiny remarked as he walked towards me in a expensive looking grey suit.I really wasn't in the mood for this of all things why did these things always happen to me anyway?(okay only twice but still).To my relief Yuzuki opened his mouth to say something however he was cut off by a girl running towards us ,maybe she's the one that will rescue me I thought. "Grandpa!"she shouts as I get a closer look at her,she was a petite girl who looked about my age perhaps a bit younger with medium length ginger locks and big green eyes.To be honest she resembled a doll more than anything as she had long thick lashes and flushed cheeks,she was wearing a long white gown and her hair was adorned with a white rose to go along with it,everything about this girl seems so damn grand  I had to admit. "I'm so sorry about my grandpa's behaviour when he's drunk he says all sorts of things,he is normally a really nice guy"the girl says looking at me and Yuzuki.I still was confused as to why anyone would stick up for a weirdo but I could tell that she was sincere in her words. "I guess it's okay as long as he stays off the bottles for a while,I don't really want that to happen again"I state honestly and perhaps my tone seemed a bit bitter but either way the girl didn't seem to mind. "That's a good idea,my name is Mirai by the way"she says calmly as she grins at me and it's one of those smiles that you can't help but smile back. "Let's go now"she states as she leads her grandfather outside and as far as possible from my (long)legs. "How can a tyrant like him have such a nice granddaughter?" I asked Yuzuki genuinely confused. "I think he is a lot better then he seems,I mean that girl Mirai sure does say so"he replies and I notice that his gaze had fallen to the floor,it was almost as if he was ashamed of something,I would've questioned him further but I really didn't feel like being a persistent bitch I mean at least not for today instead I thought of something else to say. "It sure was one heck of a day"I exclaim and that's when we both burst out laughing although I didn't know why we did yet as we left the restaurant side by side I realised I was glad we did because hearing his laugh really did lighten my mood even if it was just for a little bit.

Authors note:Mirai means the future,time yet to come in case you were wondering and also I decided that this character will be 15 . The reason I'm updated so quickly is because I want to do a special chapter for someone because I planned it all  in my head but I had to get this out of the way first . You guys can expect that chapter to come out very soon and I really hope that I don't disappoint.😣
