Always There

Chapter 1

Olivia giggled as she ran around the castle. "Olivia come back!" A tired Snape yelled to the four-year-old.

"No!" She giggled as she ran around the students who laughed at the young girl.

Olivia whined as she was picked up by a sixth year. "No. Down." Olivia demanded and the kid shook their heads.

"No can do." The kid-Charlie said and Olivia pouted. Olivia saw that her father was close to them.

So, she did what any four year old would have done. She wiggled and bite Charle. He cursed and dropped her before her father could make his way over to him.

Olivia giggled as she raced off again. As she got closer to the outside another person pick Olivia up. She giggled as they spun her around.

"Matty." She yelled and Matt smiled at her.

"Hello little Olivia. Why are you run?" He asked and Olivia giggled.

"Daddy said it's bafh night." She whined and pouted. "Olivia don't want bath." She mumbled and her eyes filled with tears. Matt was one of Snape's favorite snakes.

Matt's best class was of course Potions. "Hey now little Olivia. If you take a bath tonight I will bring you some candy when I see you again." Matt told her and she brightened and nodded.

"Ok." The little one said and Matt smiled.

"What candy do you want?" Matt asked and Olivia took a minute to think.

"I want... Chocolate Frog Matty!" She shouted and Matt smiled.

"You got it." Matt said as Snape walked over. He gave the seventh year a thankful look.

Olivia reached out to Snape and he took her out of Matt's arms. "Thank you Mr. Smith." Snape said and the boy smiled.

"It's not a problem." Was all he said before waving and leaving.

"Are you ready for your bath now?" Snape asked the little girl in his arms. Olivia nodded her head and yawned. "Looks like after your bath it's nap time." Olivia's eyes started to close as they made there way home.

Olivia giggled she splashed Snape in the face with soapy water. Snape sighed as he got all the shampoo out of her hair. Olivia yawned again as her hair turn black. Snape quickly finished washing her hair and picked her up.

He dried her off and put some PJ's on to her as she cuddled into Snape as she closed her eyes. Olivia fell asleep before Snape even laid down.

Snape let Olivia sleep through dinner and through the night. She had, had long tiring day. Snape was sitting up in bed as he finished grading all his first years homework and the seventh year quiz.

Today was a Hogsmeade day, so once Olivia woke up and ate some breakfast he was going to take her to the human world.

He hated it but she wanted to see new stuff. He didn't want her to be close minded; even though he was. Snape watched as Olivia mumbled and rolled over.

Olivia opened her eyes sleepily. Snape smiled down at her, who gave him a tired smile in return.

"Hey sleepyhead do you want to go get some breakfast?" Snape asked the four-year-old who nodded enthusiastically.

Snape got out of bed and picked up Olivia who was rubbing her eyes. Olivia yawned as she laid her head on Snape's shoulder.

Snape walked into Olivia's room, she hardly ever slept in there, and sat Olivia on the bed. She whined about being out down as Snape grabbed some clothes for her to wear. He walked back to Olivia who had curled up in her side.

He sat Olivia up right as she pouted at him. "Let's get you changed little one," Snape softly told Olivia, who shook her head.

"No, cold." She whined and Snape nodded softly. He quickly pulled her shirt over her head. "Cold!" Olivia chanted until a new warmer shirt got put on.

"Better?" Snape asked Olivia who stopped chanting cold. She nodded as Snape put her in some leggings. "Let's go eat," Snape told Olivia who nodded.

"Food!" Olivia started to chant as they made there way to the great hall.

Snape walked into the great hall and over to the teachers tables. He sat down letting Olivia sit on his lap. A plate of pancakes popped in front of Olivia. She squealed and smiled up to Snape, who smiled down at the girl. Snape started eating his food as Olivia's food cuts up on its own.

She giggled as she grabbed her fork and stabbed a piece of pancake. Olivia finished her food and a sippy cup full of apple juice appeared. Olivia giggled and grabbed it. She sipped happily.

"Are you ready to go Olivia?" Snape asked Olivia who looked up and smiled.

"Yes daddy," Olivia giggled and hopped off his lap. Snape got up and grabbed her hand. Olivia skipped along next to him. Once they got off of school grounds Snape Apparate to the Muggle world.

Olivia awed as she looked around. Snape picked Olivia up; not wanting to lose the small girl. "But I wanna walk daddy," Olivia whined but Snape shook his head.

"Well I don't wanna lose you in this crowd." Snape told his daughter softly and she nodded. Snape started walking around; looking at all the stuff.

Olivia looked at the cars with wide eyes. "Daddy what's that?" Olivia asked and pointed to the car; Snape chuckled.

"Those are called cars. They move Muggles around to different places." Olivia nodded and looked at the moving car. Snape smiled softly at the girl in his arms.

She was so full of curiosity and wonder. Snape walked into a store and let Olivia down. She grabbed his hand and pointed to a sign that said Candy.

"I want Candy!" Olivia yelled and started to pull Snape in that direction. People around them awed at the girl.

Snape walked in the direction and Olivia giggled. She grabbed a box that said chocolate on it. Snape nodded and she smiled. She grabbed another one and they walked to the register.

Snape paid before picking up the small girl and walked out. He walked to a park and let Olivia run around. She smiled before running off to the swings.

She played in that for awhile before getting bored. Olivia jumped off the swings and ran on to that play area. She slid down the slide a couple of times before running around with other kids.

Olivia was just fine until she turned into a Lynx kitten. Snape shot up and picked up Olivia. Snape Apparate outside the school. He walked in and up to his chambers.

"Olivia can you turn back for me?" Snape asked and Olivia yawned, she closed her eyes and fell asleep. He sighed before Olivia turned back.
