Chapter 2:

It had seemed as if everyone from around the world was there. People of every race, and color were there. It seemed as if though everyone was in a hurry. There was those that were with their family. Others were simply businessmen trying to make their next flight, or were trying to order their next alcoholic beverage. Then in the baggage claim lobby was an old withered man sitting all by himself.

It was Gage Foster, slowly he began to wake up. With a dazed look on his face his eye’s began to ponder his surroundings. He had know idea where he was, and didn’t even know where to start.

“Where am I”? He mumbled under his voice.

Foster slowly, but surely began to get up. He kept looking around and walked over to a group of men talking amongst themselves. he snagged one of them by the shoulder.

“Excuse me! Talk about being rude. Can you let go of me?” The man said to Foster.

Foster looked at him. “I’m so sorry sir,but I don’t know where I am. I just need some help. I noticed were in some airport. I just need to know where I’m at. I know at this point point I look crazy, and my question sounds stupid.  I just need to know?”

The man looked at the other men in his group, and began to smile at them. A smirk came upon his face.

“This geezer thinks he’s at an airport, ha!” All the men in the group began to laugh themselves. They started whispering to another. looking back over at Foster.

“Okay, okay you want to know where you’re at old timer?”

“Yes, please help!”

“Why don’t you take your old wrinkly ass. Sit back down over there, and leave us the fuck alone! the man shouted! All you need to know old timer is that no one gives two shits where you’re at. No one has time for for an old fuck.”

“Look I’ll leave you alone. Sorry I bothered you. I just needed help”

“damn right you will leave us alone!”

The man started talking to the group of men again. Foster just stood there for a seconds. The man looked over at Foster again. “ what did I tell you old timer! Get the fuck away from me!”

“Okay, okay. I’m leaving you alone”

“Damn right you are!”

Foster began to walk away. There were more people than he could count. For hours he couldn’t get anyone to talk to him. Or for that fact even get anyone to look at him. Then it happen. He heard a scream. He started looking around and it got louder, and louder. It was coming from above him on the second floor of the airport on the balcony.

“My baby woman screamed! Don’t you do it!”

Foster could see the whole thing happening. there was a couple fighting over a baby. The man grabbed the child holding him over the balcon.

“Sarra, you knew this was coming, everything dies sooner or later!” The crazed man was screaming. Yet no one was doing anything. Everyone was going about their lives.

“ Help someone help! don’t you see what that man’s doing?” Foster screamed. No one looked, and they were still ignoring him.

”Dammit! I-I-I don’t know what to do?”

He tried to make his way to the stairs, but he was too old to move fast. His breathing began to deepin. He was getting closer. Only a few more steps he thought to himself. All you could here was the woman screaming.

“Stop, Stop! Don’t kill my baby!”

Foster grabbed the man by his wrist. Yet he didn’t have the strength to stop him. It was too late. There was no more crying. Foster fell to his knees, and started to cry.
