Hero Halloween (BNHA AU)

First Encounter - Chapter 2

Another half hour passed by the time Ashido finished Uraraka's nails. Ochako glanced at the time and couldn't believe how much Momo and the other girls had been outside with the guys.

"They sure have been out for a while," Uraraka notes worriedly. "Maybe we should check on them..."

"Yeah, you're right," Ashido sighed. "I was really liking our Girl's Night though..."

"We'll have another one soon," Ochako assured, before she led Ashido out into the hall. They'd barely walked two rooms down before they spotted Tsuyu sprinting around the corner, clothes torn, and fear in her big eyes.

"Ochako, Mina, run!" Asui screamed, running (or hopping since she moved like a frog a lot) towards them. Ruckus and many voices could be heard behind her, most moaning or growling like animals.

"Tsuyu, what's—"

Asui cut Uraraka short as she grabbed their wrists and sprinted down the dorm hallways. She stopped at an intersection once she believed they were no longer being followed.

"Tsuyu, what's going on?!" Mina demanded.

"Sh!" Asui hushed. "This is really bad! You remember when the boys went training with a new transfer student from one of the other classes?"

"Yeah, he seemed anxious and lonely about being in a new school—"

"He was lonely because he can't control his quirk, and it's a powerful one. It turns people into monsters—!"

"Like Fujimi's Zombie Virus?!" Mina added. Asui nodded.

"So if the guys went training with that kid, and Momo, Jirou and Hagakure went to check on them—" Uraraka was interrupted again when the lights in the building all went out.

"No power..."

"And no cell service..."

"This is just like a horror movie!" Mina squealed in fear.

They all froze, eyes wide when they heard it, the light scraping of claws, and small chains rattling, growing steadily louder, until the source rounded a corner.

Bakugou locked eyes on the girls and snarled, stalking closer like a predator does on easy prey. Mina leapt in front of the others right as Bakugou charged, spraying a wall of acid for protection, forcing Bakugou to break off his attack.

He continued growling, pacing around the acid irritably, before he stopped. He sat on his haunches, lifted his head up and release a blood curdling howl.

The girls all had to cover their ears, but easily knew what Bakugou was really doing.

He's calling the rest of his monster pack to finish the job...!

"Asui, Ochako, run!" Mina shouted. "Get to cover! My acid won't last long with Bakugou—!"

As if on cue, Bakugou leapt over the acid, pouncing and pinning Ashido under him. He sank his teeth into her neck, as she let out a pain-filled scream.

Uraraka and Asui watched in horror as Mina thrashed, her skin growing darker, her horns growing longer. A tail extended behind her, her painted fingernails growing into black claws. Her eyes shifted to the sides of her head, enlarging to that of a mutilated extraterrestrial.

"Ashido—!"

"Go, Ochako, go!" Tsuyu grabbed her wrist again, now running from a werewolf and an alien.
