You were playing with your phone when a certain someone barges into your room. He just stand there for a moment and somehow you couldn't read his expression.

Just then he replace your pillows, engulfing you with hugs. He didn't say a word. He just snuggle up to you and buried his face into the crook of your neck.

From all of his behavior you only can conclude that he's upset. But you don't know what happened, and knowing him. He won't say anything until he feels like ready to talk to you.

Both of you were just laying there for a few minutes, him being the first one to break the silence.

"Mum's gone mad at me, because I failed my math class ... again."

You still stay in silence caressing his cheeks while waiting for him to continue. "She's disappointed that I'm not like my brother who excel every subject at school, including maths."

He then pour all of his heart out. And you listen to everything that he has been keeping all of this time.

Even though you're bad at expressing words, your presence itself already soothe him. And that's the only thing that matters to Jeongguk.

"Thank you, for listening." He released a deep breath then once again buried his head into the crook of your neck.

"Anytime."

You pull out from his engulfing hugs and smiles at him. "Whatever happens, you only need to know that I'll always be right by your side."
