Reese had just turned 18 at precisely 2:03 pm on October 15. She was excited to move away, to expand her horizons.
A day later
She was already moved in and everything into her very own apartment. She was wearing the outfit above, sighing as she looked in the mirror.
She felt like she was being watched since she got to her apartment. A black crow that she had named blue -for It's piercing blue eyes- showed up on her windowsill every couple hours and just watched her, almost as if the crow was observing her. "Hey, blue." The crow cooed quietly at the name "If I fall on my face and people laugh, I'll have to make an orphan joke to make people uncomfortable. Because that's what I do best" she giggled to herself, petting the crow's head and heading out the door.
She walked into the school, getting stared at almost immediately. She was a very self conscious person, but she hid it well. Reese was listening to music, staring at her feet as she walked when she bumped into a wall, knocking her off her feet and making her drop her bag. She looked up and saw a guy. Okay, not a wall. She thought. "Erm- I'm sorry for bumping into you" she said to the guy. He chuckled "It's okay. I'm Stefan. You new?" She nodded "My names Reese"
Stefan had almost every class with Reese, so they pretty much had to talk. Stefan learned that Reese was actually pretty funny, and they quickly became friends.
After school, Reese walked to a graveyard to listen to music and hum along without people bothering her. She was sitting atop a bench when she heard rustling next to her. "If you're gonna murder me, do it now." She joked. The black crow from earlier landed next to her. "Oh, hi Blue. You scared the shit outta me" Stefan appeared out of nowhere. "You talk to birds? Fuckin weird.." he joked, earning a giggle from Reese.
A bit later, Reese and Stefan ended up talking and Stefan learned that Reese was useless at Math, so he invited her over to study the next day. The next day would be Saturday, so happily said yes.
Next day
She got dressed in this before heading out

She quickly got to his house and knocked at the door, a guy with piercing blue eyes just like Blue answered. He smirked at the sight of her and let her in. "You're Reese, right?" She nodded in response "Stefan was talking my ear off about some girl" Damon stated "Y'know, I get a vampire vibe from you" she said randomly. Damon cocked an eyebrow.
"Oh, really?" He asked almost in a purring voice..
