Hibiki: Ah, but that's where you're wrong, author-san, for am am actually based on a main character from a manga! Ho ho ho ho! (Ojou-sama laugh)
Me: No, you were a side character there too. (lol)
Hibiki: Shocking revelation!
Me: You're not from Hitsugi no Chaika.... Anyway would you kindly get on with it?
Hibiki: Ah yes. Well as I was saying, unfortunately our author-san has no idea how to write battle scenes, so he just shoved this chapter in as a filler.
Me: Harsh...
Hibiki: But true. So, he would like to know if any of our beloved readers have any tips or references (cheats, lol), to help him out.
Me: Hey! What was with that 'cheats, lol'?! What's that supposed to mean?
Hibiki: Going on. If you can help us, it would be greatly appreciated, and he would dedicate a side character to you. Thank you in advance. *Bows*
Me: Tch, yeah, what she said. *Also bows*

Makoto's POV
Okay, so apparently there's a really quick way to level up in MMORPG without traveling around like a lost puppy looking for a dragon's scale and a sea-siren's pearl (what kind of dog does that?). Wanna hear it? Too bad, I can't tell you. I've been sworn to secrecy by my girlfriend.
"Makoto, focus." said Mana interrupting my monologue. But I adore her so it's fine.
So anyway here we are, about to enter 'The Coliseum' which was recently added by the admins specifically for this battle. They seem pretty confident, huh? Well as a wise man once said, "Pride comes before the fall."- Jackie Chan.
Anyhows, here we are playing as an [Elf] level 189 (Me) and a [Future Warrior] level 218 (Mana) about to fight 53 high-level players from a guild that the admins joined called 'H4CKERS'. As you can probably guess from the name, they hacked their way into the Top 3 in the world. Mana hates those type of people who cheat and deceive their way without working at all.
Back to what I was monologuing about before, here we are. We (as tiring for me as it was) successfully managed to level up enough to satisfy Mana in 2.5 days. She seems to think that we are ready to vs them, and is confident that we will win. Me, not so much.
"I don't think I'm ready, Mana! Maybe you are, but I'm not nearly as skilled or talented as you! I'm not as confident! Nor do I have expirience! Blah blah blah blah..!" (Rants)
"Makoto, trust me?" she interrupted.
"With my life." I stated.
"Then follow." she said, entering the Coliseum.
I sighed as I entered behind her.
[Elf]'s POV
The Coliseum was, in one word, flashy. Beside the screaming crowd, the was streetlamp-like posts, called Eos Lumo, were up all around the outer walls, making it a bit hard for my eyes to adapt to, unlike Future Warrior who had hi-tech shades over his eyes. When my eyes had fully adjusted, I saw what might be the scariest army of magical beasties I had ever seen. Ranging from Griffins to Gargoyles, Ghosts to Elemental Mages, Berserkers to Chimeras. Yup, it was scary as hell. I glanced over to see Future Warrior's reaction. As always, he was scanning our enemies as calmly and unemotionally as possible. (Kyaa! FW-senpai!!) So I decided to imitate him. Yeah, not such a good idea, because that was when the announcer decided.... Well, to announce. Loudly.
"Goooooood morning ladies and gentlemen! And welcome to the Coliseum! This new feature will allow guilds from around the world to go all out against other guilds in an epic, untamed, brawl! Today for the first battle, we have our own awesome, powerful and humble yet brutal, Admins!
*crowd roars*
*Admins roar*
*Griffin in the sky roars*
Roars.... Roars everywhere.
"And in this corner, put your hands together for, the mysterious, infamous, and insanely elite, N.E.E.T.!"
This time, there was significantly more roars. And claps. I couldn't help but give a smug smile at the Admins. That's right, we rock. And we know we do. And they know we do. I'm pretty sure my History teacher knows we do.
"And without further ado, let's start the battle!!!"
