Elys is a post-apocalyptic world bordering on despair. Most cities are in ruins. It is slowly rebuilding after being forsaken by its goddess.
The people are back on their feet with a new political party at the fore. During the rocky time, dissent and chaos reign. The two parties, Asephal and Felys, fight on opposite sides. Already the two parties have come to physical blows.
Asephal, lead by the strong minded Brody, fights to rise to the heavens, but not just for human advancement. Their endgame is to extinguish the once beloved goddess' life.
Felys, though not entirely on the heaven's side, knows humanity was at fault for trying to pioneer where they were not meant to go.
Tensions are rising, and that only continues to escalate when newcomers are popping up in their world. Grudgingly, they welcome the strangers.
And then, song maidens begin to appear once more.
