Chapter 5

I wake up screaming in a cabin out of the window I see some trees so I can tell I was in the woods. I start freaking out.

“Help, me where am I" I'm yelling

“Calm down your fine no one kidnapped you." a boy said as he came through the door.

He had looked about 15 he had brown hair Carmel colored eyes and he was pretty well built.

“What is going on where's Andrea and Ivan" I asked confused and scared. I feel a sudden pain and scream.

“No time for that I need to tend to your wounds." At first I'm confused then I look at my shirt and see blood.

“What can you do" I ask

“Not much except for this" He starts coming towards me and puts his hands on my back

“Hey what are you......" I stop talking when the pain in my back disappears. “What did you do?" I was about to freak out.

"I healed you do you really need to know the details." he said flatly.

“No I guess not" I replied A cute guy with healing powers. Wow. All he needs is a cute name. The guy smiled as if he heard my thoughts.

“ I don't know if David is a cute name" he said laughing through his words.

“Wait can you read my mind!" I felt heat rush to my cheeks. “Maybe" he said with a smug look on his face. Dammit over everything else now I need watch what I think. I lay back on the mat I was laying on when I when I woke up. David just laughed. “Ok superboy where are my friends" I ask mocking him.

“Their fine. They're just outside talking" he says with a smile still on his face. Dimples, very cute.

“Thanks" he says through his laughter. I just give him a death stare and walk past him. I touch his neck and burn him but just a little you know like touching metal on a hot day. He jumps and I laugh. This is gonna be fun. I walk outside to Andrea and Ivan arguing back and forth.

“She wouldn't have gotten stabbed if you hadn't been busy patting yourself on the back. instead of checking to see if they were actually dead" Andrea yells

“Well maybe if you were paying attention you would have seen him sneaking up on her" Ivan yells back

“Idiot"

“Retard"

“Self obsessed"

“Shorty"

“OK that's enough I'm fine now so you two can shut up" I say

“Fine" they say simultaneously

“Now will someone tell me why I woke up in a cabin in the woods" I was almost yelling

“I can tell you that" I hear from behind me. I jump from the sudden noise. I turn around to see David behind me. He walks past me and I feel a small shock. I jump back and see him smile devilishly.

“That's for burning me" he says. I just frown. Son of Zeus he nods confirming my assumption.

“So superboy why am I here" I say

“My name is David" he says

“I like superboy better" I give him a devilish smile

“You are here because we have to keep you safe from The children of Gaia"

“Why me though I have never done anything special" I was seriously confused Why me I am not a special person I've never been

“That's where you're wrong you are special you are one of the most powerful demigods on the planet" David said reading my thoughts

“Don't read my mind it's rude" I tell him

“Can't help it it's funny hearing how cute you think I am"

“Funny?" I say

“Wrong choice of words dude" I hear Ivan say

He realizes his mistake to late I'm already mad

“You know what I think I'd rather take my chances in the woods." I say trying not to yell. I throw a fireball at David's feet and walk right into the woods. I hear David stomping on the ground trying to put out his pants. I walk around for about 10 minutes and then I hear footsteps behind me. I start to panic and walk a little faster. The footsteps accelerate with mine. I start running and the footsteps are running behind me. I feel strong hands grab me I start screaming I get pushed to the ground I keep screaming with my eyes closed struggling to get free I wrapped my hands around something and burned it. I heard a frustrated scream.

“Samantha calm down it's ok it's me David"

“David? Why are you here" I said with just a hint of irritation in my voice

“I came looking for you. Well after I changed my pants. My other ones were burned" This time I heard irritation in his voice

“Well you didn't have to. I was fine on my own I don't need your help" I started struggling to get up but I couldn't with him on me

“Get off me I told you I'm fine by myself" his grip was like iron

“Not until you agree to come back"  Why did he want me to come back anyway. He obviously hates me.

“I don't hate you I'm just don't think before talking"

Note to self find a way to block my thoughts

“Can't do that the only way I can't hear your thoughts is if I decide not to and that's not going to happen so are you coming back?"

“Maybe if you would get off me" I was seriously done being sit on.

“Sorry about that I just can't have you getting kidnapped by Gaia again" he said blushing as he got off me and let me go. He holds his hand out to help me up and I take it.

“Superboy are you blushing" I said with a smile on my face

“No!" he says blushing even more “Race you back to the cabin" he says moving my attention away from the fact that he was blushing. He runs back towards the cabin.

“Hey you got a head start" I say laughing
