The Life of a Teenage Demigod

Chapter 7

I have never been more scared in my life. Tears streamed down my face. I saw the ground rushing towards me. I don't think living until 15 is living a long life but at least I lived. I closed my eyes. I didn't want to see the moment I hit the ground. I knew I was about to hit the ground so I braced myself for it. Suddenly I felt strong hands catch me.

“It's okay your safe now" I open my eyes to see Justin. I start crying into his shirt.

“I told you I would never let you fall" he kisses the top of my head.

“I.. I wasn't scared" I say trying to protect my pride

“Hah tell that to my tear soaked shirt" He said looking down at his shirt.

“I don't see anything" I tell him trying to protect my pride

“Oh do you" I suddenly feel his hands leave me. I freak out again. He catches me again.

“Fine I might see something" I admit. He just laughs at me.

“Let's tell the others that your alright and then get back to the cabin before we attract any more attention."

    I look down and see a few people looking up at us most look afraid but one girl just looks amazed and longing. She sees me looking at her and pulls out a water bottle she pours some water out but instead of it falling onto the floor it just  floats there in midair. Then it starts forming something. I look at the water amazed as it forms a perfect replica of my face. Well as my face probably looked after falling out of the sky.Twice.

She motions her head sideways as to meet her behind the trees. Then she puts up her hand as to say five minutes. She starts to move towards the trees and then disappears into the forest. I look at Justin he nods his head. He saw her too.

  Five minutes later after we got Andrea and Ivan we meet her in the forest. She is a little under average size. Her hair was black and down below her shoulders. She wore glasses. She kind of reminded me of Snow White. I mean if Snow White ever wore glasses. I anticipated she was about like ten years old

“Ok why are we here kid" Ivan says with a hint of annoyance in his voice. something must of happened on the beach when me and Justin were gone.

“I'm not a little kid" She says she looks angry.

“ Sure your not. What are you like ten" he says looking smug.

Before he can laugh at her. The cap is off her water bottle and ice is surrounding his mouth. He is so surprised that he falls to the ground and trying to pull the ice off his mouth. Andrea moves to help but stops and looks at her shoes.

“I am 14 next time you insult my height I will cover your nose and mouth." She tells him. The water thaws and hits the ground. Ivan stands up immediately and his face turns red.

“Ivan stop being mean." I tell him

“She was the one who tried to kill me" He yells at me mad.

“She only covered your mouth. Plus you did make fun of her."

I give him a glance to say that says end it.

“So what's your name?" Justin asks her

“Melanie" she says.

“Why did you call us here?" Andrea asks her.

“I know what Gaea is planning." She says.

“We can't talk here" I say.

Do you believe her

I don't know but we have to hear her out

True, ok but be ready to attack at all times. She may be planning something.

Ok

“Are we going to go or not" Melanie says very impatiently.

“Yes" Ivan says annoyed giving her the evil eye. I give him a death stare and he stops.

“How are they going to get there they can't fly?" I ask Justin

“I can make a bridge don't worry" Andrea says and suddenly a whole bunch of vines come from the ground and formed a bridge. Ivan just starts walking without a second glance at Andrea.

There is something going on with those 2 you know that right

I Noticed it too you should say something.

If I know my best friend then she wouldn't want to talk about it

I have a idea but you won't like it.

I know I'm in your mind remember just do it she's my best friend and if somethings wrong I need to know.

Suddenly he grabs her and pulls her into a kiss. She was surprised and pushed him away. Then she slaps him and walks away. He looked surprised but I knew it wasn't about the slap.

“What is it what happened?" What I meant was “Please don't be what I think it is"

They broke up.
