Dream Catcher

Y/N's POV

   I was extremely exhausted after dancing to EXO's Growl. I made my way to a small couch in the corner of the small dance room my uncle built in especially for me, and slumped my body onto it.

  "This is enough" I thought to myself. It's just enough for me to take audition in the 'Dream Catcher'. I'm talented enough to take audition. Six years of training is no joke. Taking classes from multiple tutors was exhausting.

   My schedule was packed. As a class ends with one tutor, I will run to my vocal tutor and back to another dance tutor Now I know what it feels being a trainee. Well I'm still not a trainee.

  I decided to drop out of school when I turned 12 to actually achieve my dream. Parents and relatives had always had hopes of me being a doctor. But I just couldn't find who I was until one day, I realised... I was not born to be a specialist in any medical field or anything. I was born to be an idol.

   I never actually did score well in tests and exams. My parents were worried about me. But they had to see who I really am. On one particular day, my parents came home early from work and heard noises from my room.

  They opened my room door and I could tell by their facial expression, that they were beyond shocked. They looked around the walls of my room. Kpop posters, merches, light sticks, bed sheet. Everything was just Kpop.

  And they walked in to find their daughter, taking dancing classes from youtube videos. After that day they finally had a serious talk with me. My mom said "follow your dreams if that is what you're happy with". 

  So here I am, in South Korea in the house of my uncle who works here. Tomorrow is finally the day of the audition and surprisingly I am not even nervous. Being a kpop idol is my dream so I am here to achieve it.
