I haven't formally introduced myself. I am Ava Rose Salvatore. Daughter of Giuseppe and Lillian Salvatore. My brothers are Damon and Stefan Salvatore. I was turned into a vampire 3 years before they did. I was 17 which makes me and Stefan look closer in age, but I'm actually older than him by 2 years. I was born on New Years, January 1, 1844. I was turned in August 11, 1861.
Timeline •Damon was born on June 18, 1839 •I was born on January 1, 1844 •Stefan was born on November 1, 1846 •I was turned on August 11, 1861. I was 17 years old. •Damon and Stefan turn on September 25, 1864. Stefan was 17 and Damon was 25. I was 20 years old in a 17-year-old body.
Me turning is another story. After they became vampires in 1864 you would have thought we stayed together to go through it together as a family, but we didn't. Damon and I left Mystic Falls in 1865 but I left before him. Stefan became the ripper and Damon who knows where he went. I, on the other hand, left to Italy because I wanted to get far away from Mystic Falls.
I haven't seen Damon since the 1960s and I haven't seen Stefan since the 1990s. I've checked up on every couple of years whenever I could.
I traveled a lot during my time and my favorite place has always been Italy. I spent the first 2 decades there when I turned into a vampire. Mystic Falls is probably the last place I want to be but here I am driving past the Welcome to Mystic Falls sign.
