Lily and Scarlet sit in silence as the movie starts. Scarlets face is glued to the tv screen, the outside world completely shut out. Lily admires Scarlet.
I really hate having to keep this from her.... But im scared of what she will think.. Will she hate me? Will she not mind? Lilys thoughts race a mile a minute. A scream is heard coming from the tv. Lily glances at it, and shrieks. A monstrous face is coming! Lily hides under a blanket. She hears the movie pause.
"its just a movie Lily, nothing to be afraid of." Scarlets voice lures her out from under the covers.
Seeing the remote still in Scarlets hand, Lily dives for it, to prevent her from playing it. She misses. Scarlet and Lily wrestle around for the remote a bit, until both of them fall over, Scarlet landing on Lily. Lily blushes, Scarlets face is mere centimeters from Lilys.
Thankfully, Scarlet gets up before she notices the blush on Lilys face.
Scarlet, holds up the remote, victorious. Lily though, isnt paying attention as Scarlet plays the movie. All she can think about is Scarlets face inches away from hers.
As the movie ends, she sighs, wishing the moment had lasted longer.
As the both of them fall asleep, Lily thinks of the junk food they had failed to eat.
