Chapter 2 highschool

I woke up on a beautiful Monday morning. I woke up to my alarm clock and the smell of fresh grass that had already just been cut. I sat up in my bed and looked to see if my guitar was up against my wall like it should be. I got up brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, threw on some leggings,a long patterned shirt, and flatts. As I was putting on my makeup I glanced over at my eighth grade graduation picture and said "today is the first day of being a freshmen at Conval High School". I still couldn't believe I was going to be a freshmen I look like a sixth grader. I'm short! I grabbed my backpack also my notebook that has all my songs in it and rushed to go eat breakfast. As I got downstairs my mom had been crying my dad had his right arm around her and was rubbing her back. I put down my backpack and my notebook and rushed over to see why my mom was crying. "What's wrong mom"? I asked. She didn't answer. Then my dad pipped up and said " just go to school honey we can talk about this later". I turned around and was kind of upset. As I got to school I saw none of my friends anywhere. But I saw a group of boys standing around the water fountain near the bench outside. They all turned around while I was walking toward them I noticed that Josh was there he said "hey Kiley how was your summer? I missed you so much" he went over to me and gave me a big hug I was so happy to see him! Then after that he separated from his friends and we were walking and talking together. We had so much to talk about I didn't see him at all this summer because I was in California for a lot of the summer. We went near a big tree. We both sat down right beside it. He had noticed I had been shaking like I was nervous. "Are you okay"?he asked me. I said " of course why wouldn't I be I'm with you. He said "you were shaking and looked nervous". "Dont worry I'm fine" I said. After a while we got a little closer to each other. All of a sudden he put is arm around me. I put my head on his shoulder and he said " I missed you so much Rossie". "Ugh don't call me that"I said I HATE IT". He smiled and laughed. "Don't laugh" I said. My checks were bright red. "Before you know it we are going to be high schoolers" Josh said". "ugh I know I'm scared" "why he asked me"? I didn't really want to answer him so instead I just shrugged my shoulders. Then the bell rang Josh and I stood up and he grabbed my hand and we walked to the front door of Conval highschool.  As I walked in with Josh there were a bunch of new kids that I saw and most of them looked like they were from another country. Josh lead me to my first class as we got to the front door of the room I turned  around to Josh and said  "I'm nervous" he looked at me with those big blue eyes of his and said "don't worry you'll be fine I promise just take one day at a time."  I looked at him like never before and I said "I love you". Then he smiled and said "I love you too" then he left and I walked in to my first class.
