What is an aesthetic? According to Google it is concerned with beauty or the appreciation of beauty.
To me, and aesthetic is kinda like a theme. So whenever I'm looking for an aesthetic for my account I'm looking for a theme. For example some themes I would have would be:

This second one is a café/brown/minimalistic(?) theme.
I change my theme pretty often, usually depends on the colors I like or the colors i haven't tried.
Now I'm not saying you have to have a theme but your account will look more put together if you do come up with a theme. Some ideas I can give you are:
Use colors! Colors are a great way to make a theme. I usually go for a color theme more often. So just look up red aesthetics, green aesthetics etc. and you will get many different pictures with that color theme your looking for!
Go minimalist! Sometimes less is more! There are sometimes we are feeling creative but as soon as we start adding random stickers to our covers it's kinda like too much. Sometimes op for something different and use just the tints (black and white).
Dont be afraid to experiment! Now I know I just said that less is more but sometimes experimenting with new shapes or new fonts and like new positions in your covers can get lots of compliments from others.
