Is it "weird" to feel this way?

Choi Sooyoung's POV

"Something's wrong with Sooyoung-ssi today..."

"Her shots are not the same as before..."

I heard whispers around as I sighed wearily. I'm that obvious, huh?

"Choi Sooyoung, if you're not feeling good, sit out at the back," Coach said seriously.

"Alright, coach..."

I walked towards my team who was looking at me worriedly as I reassured them with a small smile. I gestured that I would go out for a while to breathe some fresh air.

"Gaaah, I'm such an idiot!" I exclaimed frustratedly, ruffling my hair in annoyance. "It's important for me to do my best right now... the game is coming..."

I unwrapped one of the candies that Sunny gave me and popped one inside my mouth.

It's sweet.

It hurts... It's so strange.

She was a complete stranger to me a little while ago... But now, all I can think about is her.

I'm such an idiot. I can't make her wait today... It'd be the same if I avoided her and went home.

That's right... it'd be the same in the end.

I exhaled some fresh air for the last time as I turned my heels around, going back inside the basketball court. I walked towards my teammates as they just stared at me before turning to our coach.

"Coach, excuse me, but I'm coming back in," I said with much confidence.

Coach and captain looked at each other, maybe asking if it'll be okay. Well, I'm pretty okay. Just have many thoughts running inside my mind...

"I'm sorry!" I bowed at them. "Please let me shoot!"

All of them looked very surprised.

"She's back..."

"Finally..."

I heard them as I smiled. Hyoyeon smiled at me as she passed the ball, "Go on, practice your shooting skills once again, Soo."

I nodded as I started playing. Now, focused on what I am doing.

No matter what Jessica says, I still love her. Love is both sweet and painful.

But if I'm with her, it's the real thing.

"Good work today!"

"Goodbye!"

Our teammates said goodbyes as we decided calling it a day. I changed into a new shirt but the same jersey shorts as I slung my bag on my shoulder. I was the last one to go out as all of them already went straight home.

When I closed the door behind, I decided running, thinking that Jessica's waiting for me already. I was going to run faster when I heard someone called me, making me stop and turn around. I was expecting it would be Jessica but I saw a different person instead.

"Sooyoung!" Sunny called as she smiled at me, waving her hands. She gestured at me to come closer.

"Sunbun! What's wrong?" I said as I walked towards her. "I'm surprised you're still here..."
