"You have too much passion and you work too hard, it's going to kill you."

[JENNIE X JACKSON]

Jackson was sick. It started out as a simple cold to which he shrugged off, saying medicine can make it go away. It didn't. Well, it probably would if he would just take a damn rest for just a day. But the guy was so stubborn, refusing to take even an hour of nap. He even fought Jinyoung about it.

"I swear Jackson, take a damn break. You're not a hero. Go back to your house and rest." Jinyoung sighed, massaging his temple. Jackson had arrive early for practice even though he was already excused since he was sick.

"Jinyoung-ah stop nagging. I'm fine. Don't worry." Jackson once again shrugged his member's worry about his health.

Then the promotions came. Every week they would attend four shows to promote their latest song. Not to mention going to fansigns as well. He was not getting his proper rest. But, he didn't pay no attention to it.

All those weeks of prolonging his need for rest now hit him. Like a storm. He woke up today, with a headache. He felt really hot. Burning. And he can't smell anything. Yeah, he got a flu.

His phone rang on the table beside him.

"Hello?"

"You're sick."

"Yeah, don't rub it in."

"I told you to rest, you never listen. You're so hard headed."

"Jinyoung, I swear if you don't shut up I will hang up."

"I'm just looking out for you. Anyways, I'll tell them you're sick and I'm calling your girl. You need someone knock some sense into your head."

"Jinyoung no, wait—"

The line was cut short and Jackson cursed under his breath. He knew what would happen if Jennie finds out about him being sick. The last time it happened was still imprinted in his brain like it was yesterday.

"Why are you in bed? I thought you said you're going to hang out with Bambam?" Jennie asked. She made a visit when she learned from Bambam that Jackson cancelled their plans.

"Well, haha, this is a funny story," Jennie raised her brows, clearly not buying any of his words.

"Go on, I'm listening."

"I didn't lie, I swear! I caught a cold last night and now I feel bad. I'm not in the condition nor the mood to go out that's why I told Bambam I'm out." Jackson explained.

"Serves you right for not taking care of yourself." Jennie sassed.

"Wait, no 'oh Jackson, you should've been taking care of yourself. Let me take care of you?'" Jackson, with hopeful eyes and pouty face, asked.

Jennie sighed. "I hate it when you do this. You need to take care of yourself more. You're not doing anything today but lie down and rest. I'm going to bring you some medicine." Jackson watched as she left to get his medicine.
