"If you follow the demon, you'll only get hell. There's nothing else where i'm headed, kid" she said to the man before her.

He looked like a kid standing there holding her hand, streaks of tears staining his face.
She didn't want to leave. Not at all. But this was always the moment where she had to go. She always had to leave someone behind every few decades to go home. She had sworn to never get involved during her little trips lest her departure hurt them to join her fate.

She failed anyway.

This trip was the worst yet. Not at the start though, no. She had came back, grew up happy and healthy in a rich man's family. She lived in the big house at the cul-de-sac. White picket fence and apple pie kind of life. It was like that until a few years ago. The year she met David Winch at the high school reunion was also the year she had met hardcore demon hunters. His family specialised in annihilating her kind. Her father had told her about them. He told her to stay as far away as possible from them. They had killed all her friends and most of her siblings. Naturally, she was extremely vengeful. To get back at them, she had intended to start from within. So, I decided to 'cozy up' with the oldest brother.

"Natalyn, please," David pleaded. "Can't you try to persuade your father that you shouldn't go?"

She looked at him, teary eyed and struggled to keep her composure. With a pained smile she replied,"Honey, if you really loved me, you'd understand that my father isn't someone to be trifled with." She stopped to gather herself. "I'm sorry but I really need to do this."

David stared at the pentagram that she had drawn with furrowed eyebrows. To him, she looked so calm that she seemed almost relieved to be rid of him. He wanted to say something but he didn't. She slipped her hand out of his grip and lit the candles around the pentagram. Frustrated, he clenched his jaw, fighting the urge to lash out.

David just stood there, silent as stone. She knew she was tearing him apart doing this. She was tearing herself apart too. She knew she should find a way to postpone her reporting time or something. But she also knew thag her father would have murdered her for such a thought. He, The King of Hell, demanded loyalty and discipline. She, being the princess of hell, had to abide by all his rules and more. She took her seat in the middle of the sigil.

She chanted and chanted with her eyes closed. "I Have my own chants, darling," He thought as his lips formed the words.

Her dark black hair began to rise and the pentagram lines glowed red. Abruptly, she stopped chanting and stared in horror at the red screen projected around her by the pentagram.

"David? David! What did you do?" The panic in her voice increased with each syllable.

She touched the screen and winced as if it burned her. As quick as it started, her hair dropped and the red screen disappeared. She laughed nervously as she got up onto her feet. He was surprised. For a demon to not know what this was and what it could do was amazing. David tilted his head, curious to see her next reaction. Before she could even stand, the red screen appeared around her again. This time, it was very much brighter. Her hair was raised so high it was perpendicular to the ground. Her skin suddenly developed boils and rashes. It started popping pus and pimples. Her body was disintegrating and soon, she would be no more. Not here, not hell. In the moment she saw the first wound, she started shrieking.

"This is what you get for not trying. You weren't trying hard enough to be with me. Honestly right, you just want to get away from me. You knew who i was before i could tell you. That's why you suddenly grew distant. I'm a hunter and you are the fairest game. I tried to protect you but you go away. You know what? I don't need you" i whispered a chant and the red became bloody red. Her shrieks became so loud.
