Aby's POV
The first day of my first class went really well. I really enjoyed it, at least I enjoyed the learning part of it. What I didn't enjoy was the unwanted attention from one of my male classmates. he came on really strong and would not leave me alone. No matter how much I ignored him, he kept hitting on me. I was sitting there taking my notes, listening to what Professor O'Donnell had to say when all of a sudden he leaned over and asked me a question. I answered the question, that should have been the end of the conversation. It wasn't cause after that he kept talking to me, asking about my family where I was from, did I have a boyfriend, or a girlfriend, what my major was. If I wanted to go out for coffee, did I want to go out to eat, what my name was. He told me his name was Jude, like the song I just simply looked at him, and tried to ignore him, and back away. It was impossible he was really good at invading personal space. I wasn't even able to take notes anymore. When class was over, I just left as soon as I could. He called to me as I was making a beeline to the front doors of the building, but I didn't even turn around. I now realize that I left my notebook behind. Now I have to go back and get it, but I'll wait right now I need to go to my apartment and relax it's been a long morning.
I make my way toward the end of the campus when all of a sudden my phone rings, I take it out of my bag and look caller ID. I don't recognize the phone number but I answer it anyway.
"Hello." I say timidly.
"Hello, is this Miss Loving?" the voice on the phone is my Ancient History Professor.
"Yes this may I ask how you got this number." I'm not really in the mood to talk to anyone right now, I just want to get home and nap.
"Wow, right to the point I like that." he says.
"I got your number from the student record database. Which I have access too as a Professor." he tells me matter of factually.
"Ok, and how may I help you Professor." I say with more attitude in my voice. I'm annoyed and I really just want to go home.
"Is this a good time to talk Miss Loving? You seem to be not in the best of moods. Which is a shock compared to how you were just about 2 hours ago." he asks.
"I'm sorry I'm just really tired, and I want to go home and nap. Plus class didn't turn out exactly like I hoped." I tell him.
"I'm sorry to hear, which is what I wanted to talk to you about. I also have your notebook, you left it behind in class. Is it possible for you to come by my office beofre you head home?" he asks.
I groan out loud, I just want to go home, and now I have to hold a conversation. I'm not really in the mood. I think quickly, and decide that as much as I wanted my notebook back. I wanted sleep even more he would have to wait.
"I'm sorry I'm tired and just want to get home, and rest before my next class. So I'll have to speak with you later, and collect my notebook later. The end of the day works best for me. If that doesn't work for you I'll get my notebook next class." and with that I hang up the phone before he can even answer. I have no idea what has gotten into me, I'm never like this. I'm just really tired and annoyed. He calls back right away, but I send the call to voicemail.
I start walking toward my apartment building past all the school buildings, past all the students sitting in the quad talking with one another. Past the creepy stalker boy watching me with the creepy smile on his face, him I should have noticed most of all. For if I had it would have sent chills up and down my spine.
(I believe this song is every stalker's theme song so I'm using it)
