Everlasting Flames

I need something to save me

for I am sinking fast,

'cause no amount of therapy

will bid riddance on my past

your words, they burn within me

like everlasting flames,

what ever will extinguish them?

I am so done with your games.

you keep apologizing

yet I know its not sincere

know how much I dont believe you?

i want to jump off of a pier.

yes yes for thats the answer.

yet they say it makes nothing better...

but then again

it cant make anything worse.

you say im being selfish

"Im only thinking for myself"

well a wise man once told me,

to not put me on a shelf

all my life I have given, given

When will I learn to take?

but Im just the happy girl,

known by all the smiles that I fake.

you're the one whose caused this

trying to claim this pained girl yours

yet you don't even get it do you?

you're the reason my tears pour.

see you later, my friend

I hate to say goodbye,

but our happy little chat must end,

had such a great time :)
