So this is what it looks like
to fall asleep with tears in my eyes
to go to fall under slumber, wanting to die
to nearly drown in a puddle of your own tears
So this is what it feels like
To play the game and not have won
This is what it feels like
To just want to be done
this is what it sounds like
to sob at three am
This is what it sounds like
to have music blasting but still only hear them.
this is my morning
waking up with a tear stained face
rather being in any other place
voice breaking
and still on the verge of tears
if this is what its gonna be like
my life, like this
waking up three hours later every new day,
it will be my own self that my demons will slay.
