The Hunt

Nico's P.O.V

"We found him." I was ecstatic the gods had finally found Percy. I am going to kill him when I see him again, over a month, we thought here was dead. He wasn't in the underworld, or the sea. He just disappears then Leo seemingly disappeared as well. Where ever they are once I get my hands on them, I swear...

I waisted no time in shadow traveling to the throne room to see my cousin. When I got there I seen him and Leo talking quietly at the front of the throne room, they were sitting down with celestial bronze handcuffs on. When Percy finally looked up and saw me he gave me a weak smile and started talking to Leo again. That's when I realized that Zeus was speaking, "...So Percy will stay at camp for a day, until tomorrow, then we will decide what to do with him.

Percy's P.O.V

I have to stay at camp, I thought dejectedly. Why can't they just leave Leo and I alone. I am forced to camp and it is not looking good. The camp was duller than usual, it looked as if these children had little training. Me and Leo's place looked so much better than this.

Then I seen Nico, he looked a little mad for some reason. He walked up to me, as I was about to greet him, I instead get to feel someone's fist driving into my stomach. It didn't hurt that bad, oh who am I kidding that kid packs one hell of a punch. But since I'm still well built it didn't hurt too bad. Just a lot. "What was that for Nico?" Even though I new why he did it, "Where have you been Perce, I have been worried sick along with half the camp." he said which confused me greatly, the camp betrayed me why would they be worried." Why would the camp be worried, they hate me." "No none of the camp hates you guys, except Annabeth, the rest of the seven, and her new boyfriends.

When I had finally gone into the sight of everyone, most were happy, but a select few were not. Last time I was here they insisted I bow to them and respect them. Not gonna happen, I once respected them until they showed me how much of pricks they were. "Look who's back everyone, mister runaway himself." the rest of the  gods, they had a look like they were waiting for something. "Well..." Annabeth sneers. "What?" I ask. "Aren't you going to bow to us." Piper asked timidly. "No." I say and walk away slowly towards Leo.

I headed towards the arena for some training. Well I couldn't walk five feet without the entire camp following me like lost puppies. So I just disappeared into the air, turning my body into mist and rebuilding myself in a different place.

When I got there, some people were already there, like the Apollo children and one or two of Ares kids. It looked like they trained everyday. They were pretty good, but wouldn't even get a three on my PowerX 2000, When I got there i picked up a bow, got into my stance and was about to shoot, but I heard a familiar voice call my name from behind me. "Percy?" She asked. "Yeah Clarisse it's me." I said back. "What are you doing, you can't shoot?" All I did was pull back the string and fired.

(The next day, at Olympus)

Leo's P.O.V

I get to go to Olympus right now for them to decide where I'm going to be staying, along with Percy. We simply refuse to stay there. "Now to decide where Perseus and Leo will be staying." Zeus thundered in the throne room. "Ooh Percy can stay with me." Aphrodite said, her voice laced with charm speak. "No thank you Lady Aphrodite, I'm not interested." She huffed indignantly and sunk into her throne.

"I have a proposition as well." Zeus said. Perseus you could be the guardian of the hunt, to watch, and protect Artemis' hunters from danger."

Artemis' P.O.V

"That's a terrible idea father." Artemis said to Zeus, "The hunt is for girls and Perseus is a male. He'd probably try to flirt with them more than protect them." she finished "Actually Percy is not at all like that, he would never flirt with a hunter, and if he becomes guardian of the hunt, he would be greatly loyal, that's just how Percy is." Athena said. It surprised me that Athena would stick up for Perseus, I always thought she had hated him. "I don't need a guardian, my hunt can take care of themselves fine." I said getting angry at how the council underestimated the power of the hunt. "Let's ask Perseus what he thinks then. "I don't know, you do realize I'm a boy and those are a bunch of man hating girls, that doesn't exactly fit together, and besides what about Leo." Percy said

"Leo will be given his own place to stay when it is his turn." Hephaestus said. "Then I will accept if Artemis herself will allow

it." Percy said in a rush. " Artemis please, Percy has nowhere else to go, he'd die if he had to live in that camp." Hermes said, since when does he care.

"Fine I will accept, Perseus is now the guardian of the hunt." I yelled quietly.

Percy's P.O.V

I guess I'll be staying with the hunt for a while. It would have been so much easier if me and Leo were never found. We could be training now, I could be away from this life. Me and Leo talked a little longer, I asked him for a PowerX 2000 which he gave me, the upgraded version anyway. The one in my room at the old house, I may have accidentally broken it. I stepped onto it one day, for the first time in ten days, and my power level was one hundred and three out of twenty. It then shut down and wouldn't turn back on, the screen broke and everything, it was terrible. The one Leo gave me now is out of one thousand so I can't break it.

I guess I almost escaped my new job, almost, but maybe I'll find a home in The hunt
