"Let's discuss more of this at my house. My mom programmed the information to be uncopiable. If I even attempt to duplicate the data, it'll trigger a malware she specifically planted and destroy my rig." Jisoo said as she finished eating.

"Sure. But, what about your class?" Munching on her food, Rosie swallowed and asked.

"I think the information regarding a scientific breakthrough and the rather highly ominous warning mom mentioned takes precedence over a regular college lecture."

"Right... we goin now?"

"Yep."

The redhead furrowed her brows adorably, her cheeks swelled as she chew. She swallowed again. Her expression as though she made an important decision that can't be changed.

"After this." Pointing at her food, Rosie said firmly.

Negating any argument that may lead to the shorter girl asking her to leave her unfinished meal.

"......."

Jisoo was speechless.

Throughout the remainder of the class, Lisa continued to ignore the blabbering professor on the podium. She was rather preoccupied as she noticed that there were minor changes to her body.

What's going on?

The blonde furrowed her brows in thought as she felt her senses were sharpened.

If it were any other person, they wouldn't have noticed. As the change was minimal to the point of being negligent. As a highly trained elite however, she knew more than anyone (apart from Chaeng) how her body functioned.

Her sight, smell, touch, hearing, and taste— all of it were accurately assessed by her. Before taking any mission, she first had to know her limitations, so as to not accidentally take on anything way beyond her capabilities which may then possibly lead to her accidental demise.

Accurately so that this minute changes was somehow bothering her. Her senses were heightened. Not to a considerable degree but enough to irk her, as she already had complete grasp of her previous abilities but now that it's somehow amplified, she had to redo her calculations again and get used to her 'new' perception of things.

What befuddled her though was what caused it. Why the sudden upgrade? I mean I know I'm not normal but even this 'ish has never happened before.

Some trained individuals may have really trained their senses and bodies in order for it to be fit for combat or any of their chosen careers, but Lisa was different.

She was born with already abnormal levels of senses, strength, speed, intelligence, healing etc. Although there are times that she could be a bit dense, but that's for another matter.

Most people who underwent the hellish training learned to upgrade themselves while Lisa learned to control her already overwhelming talents.

If she had agreed to the training earlier, that incident wouldn't have happened in the first place.

As the blonde was mulling over the sudden boost and inwardly complaining about undergoing another 'familiarizing' training regimen, Jennie tapped her shoulder.

Lisa turned to the brunette and raised her brows curiously.

"Hmm?"

"Jisoo just texted me saying she won't be showing up for afternoon classes. She's with Rosie she says." The brunette whispered, trying to avoid disrupting the class.

"Oh. Chaeng does tend to get workaholic sometimes. Not that surprising if they jumped into work immediately." Replied the blonde in the same volume of lowered voice.
