Chapter 4

You walked out of the bathroom,dressed in your PJs. You were drying your hair with a towel since you couldn't find a hairdryer.

Knock knock knock

"Come in!" You said while sitting down on your bed.

In came a woman,dressed in a black and white maid outfit.

"Good Morning Ma'am,Mr Kim told me to bring you something to eat." Yes,it was morning. You stole a glance from the clock that was on your dresser.

Your eyes then averted to the lady who was standing at the door with a tray in her hand.

"R-right...um y-you can come inside you know..."

"Yes ma'am" She said with her head down. She walked to your bed and placed the tray on it. "I shall leave now Ma'am,if you need anything you can press the buzzer by the door." She turned around,walking towards the door.

"W-wait!" She stopped in her tracks and turned around.

"Yes Ma'am?" She spoke in a calm tone,more like a tone that had no emotion.

You got up from your bed and walked towards her. "What's your name?" You asked,hoping to make a friend in this place.

She looked at you rather puzzled.

You giggled a bit.

"What's your name?" You asked while smiling.

"O..oh..sorry. My name is Reina." She said,you were unhappy with the fact that she seemed uncomfortable.

"Hey..." You placed a hand on her shoulder,since she was only a few inches taller than you. "You don't have to feel uncomfortable around me,we can be friends. Also you don't have to address me as 'Ma'am',call me Aria." You smiled once again. This time she returned the smile with a bright one.

"Thank you,most of the time when Mr Kim brings woman home,they are very mean and bossy. Last time he brought a woman home,she slapped me because I brought her tea with sugar in it." She said while looking down.

What the...? He brings other woman here...? For some reason you felt a huge pang in your chest. Was this jealousy? You also couldn't believe the fact that someone would actually slap a person just because she put sugar in her tea. Its not like its poison or something.

You cupped her face and made her look at you.

"I'm sorry...I promise that I would never do something like that to you. I mean,you're my friend now." You gave her a reassuring smile.

"Really?" She asked with a tone of happiness.

You giggled cutely

"Yes really"

"Thank you,I've been working here for 4 years and I haven't made any friends." Well that was just sad.

"Well now you have." You laughed a little,and so did she.

"Reina?"

"Yes?"

"How old are you?"

"I'm 21."

"Really!?" You asked. "That means you're my unnie!" You exclaimed.

"Really? How old are you?"  She asked.

"19!" You said.

"Ohhh,well I gotta go now Aria." She was about to leave when she stopped. She had a worried look on her face.

"What's wrong?" You asked worriedly.

"Umm,when Mr Kim is around,I'll have address you as ma'am. He would punish me if I don't. I hope you understand."

You felt sad for her,but nodded.

"Sure"

"Thank you."

After she left,you ate your food and left the tray on the table. You went to sleep since you were feeling really tired. But your mind was on your mother. You were worried about her. Tears invaded your eyes as you cried yourself to sleep.
