Chapter 1

Aviana's POV

It is already 9 in the evening but me and Minjae my bestfriend, is at the nearest café with a game room inside, we came here seven in the morning and now it's 9 in the evening and we're still here, playing video games.

Then, he suddenly kick me on my ass making me fall on the floor.

Nice.

"Hey Avi, let's go home we have school tomorrow. I don't want your dad to kill me." He chuckled before stretching his body and stood up.

"Then why did you kick me!" I yelled and kick his ass harder making him fall on his knees and I laughed loudly as he did the same.

"And it's also a great idea if dad decided to kill you." I said making him pout but I just laugh at him so he started chasing me until we reached my home.

"Go away and go home now Minjae, good night!" I smiled before hugging him and kiss his cheeks.

"Yeah see you at school tomorrow, love you!" He said and pecked my forehead before hugging me back. He pulled away from the hug and wave goodbye at me as I watch him walk away.

"Love you!" I yelled and watch him disappear in my sight before heading inside the house.

"I'm home!" I yelled and I was welcome by my dad's tight hug.

"Welcome home sweetie, how's your day with Minjae?" He asked as I made my way to my room. I looked at him and grin before speaking?.

"It was fun, we played video games and eat ice cream." I said and as soon as I arrived at my room, I quickly flopped on my bed and sighs.

"I see, go sleep now honey. You still need to go to school tomorrow. I know you're tired. Good night." He smiled and kiss my forehead before leaving my room and slowly closed the door.

"Right, I need to sleep now. I need to attend classes tomorrow." I pouted slightly before standing up and change to my sleepwear and flopped on my bed again and I slowly drifted to my dreamland.

"Avi! Avi! Wake Up!"

"Five more minutes!" I yelled and hide my head under the blanket when my little brother yelled at my ear making me open my eyes and throw the blanket to the side as I glare at him.

"Avi! Dad said me and him will be gone for a month! We'll go to Daegu!" He jumped happily while I slightly pout and rolled my eyes.

They'll be gone again, it means I'll be left alone again. I'm used to it, it's always like that.

Damn business.

"Get up Avi! You're late! Your bestfriend is downstairs!" He giggles and punched my arm with his small fist before running away from me. I stood up and stretch before finally doing my morning routine as fast as I can before going downstairs to see no one except my younger brother and my dad who's eating breakfast.

As long as I want to eat breakfast with them, I can't because I'm late for school.

"Good Morning Dad! Gotta go!" I yelled while struggling to put on my shoes, I even tripped but my younger brother just laughed at me.

"You should atleast eat breakfast, we'll be leaving later after this and we'll be back after a month." Dad explained and sipped on his coffee. I went towards him and kissed his cheeks and I did the same to my brother.

"It's alright dad, I'll just eat at school with Minjae. I'll miss yhe both of you." I said and kissed his cheeks again and hugged him tight before running towards the door.

"Bye dad! Bye lil bro! Take care!" I yelled and run out of the house as fast as I can to go to school.

FASTFORWARD

As soon as I arrived at school, all eyes are on me. Like always, I'm used to it so I just ignored it and made my way to my first class.

I jumped happily when I saw the classroom but an unfamiliar guy who wears nerd glasses suddenly blocked my way making me frown.

"Uhm, excuse me but you're blocking my way. I'm late for my first class." I said calmly but he decided to be annoying and just crossed his arms infront of me with a smirk.

"Hello beautiful lady, I didn't know that you're more pretty in person. I'm Cho Yoon-woo, pleasure to meet you." He said using a flirty tone and winked at me and bow like I'm a princess.

What the hell?!

I was about to walk away from him when he pulled me closer to him and smiled annoyingly.

I want to punch his face real bad, I'm late and I swear Minjae will kill me.

"Leaving already? But we just met, I didn't know that my princess can be this rude." He whispered and pout his lips while putting some of my hair on the back of my ear. I rolled my eyes and pushed him away before running towards my room.

"Damn, I'm dead." I whispered before arriving at the classroom and I saw our professor discussing shits at the front and stopped when he saw me.

He cleared his throat and crossed his arms before speaking. "Ms. Avi, why are you late? Don't you have a watch? You're 30 minutes late." He scolded and I looked down and sigh.

"I'm sorry sir, someone named Cho Yoon-woo blocked my way when I was about to go here. I'm sorry sir." I explained and bowed repeatedly but I heard him told me to sit down. And there I saw Minjae holding back his laughter while looking at me. I mouthed 'what' at him and he didn't hold back his laugh anymore anfd laughed loudly and all the attention is now on him.

"Mr. Kim Minjae! To the detention! Now!" The teacher yelled at him making him frown and looked at me with a pout while his eyes asking me for help but I just smirked at him and ignored him and he kicked my chair.

"Son of a b--" I was about to yell at him but I saw the professor's eyes on me making me shut my mouth and remained quiet.

After that, the class continued like nothing happened and soon I heard the bell rang and I made my way to the library to sleep.
