She glanced at his beauty
From afar she admired him
Like a prized possession,
She watched him,
The gold in his eyes,
And the happiness he brought. She knew she couldn't,
So she watched him,
Her love built up in a small jar.
She watched him, girlfriend after Girlfriend.
And the hurt he brought. He stared at her,
From afar he admired her,
The way she laughed,
The way she talked,
And the happiness she brought. He watched her eyes,
He studied her pay interest to other guys,
He watched her blossom,
His feelings bottled up as he looked at her
Innocent smiles,
That he could never hurt,
He longed for her,
But she didn't seem to back. Her youth couldn't be ruined by someone like me.
His pride could be damaged by someone like me.
