The New Velociraptors

The island explodes.

Arrow's Pov.

The little egg hatched and it was a beautiful baby girl. I named her Checho. After her parents.

We found their dead bodies when we escaped. It was horrible. Bullet was especially devastated when we found Delta's body.

We never did find Blue's body, but we know he's dead. I admitted to my brother that I loved Blue. We both grieved the lose of our loved ones differently.

But when Checho hatched it seemed as if the world was back. At the moment me and Bullet are hunting down a gallimimus.

These gallilimimus' are crafty I'll give them that. Bullet was driving it towards me. I was supposed to kill it.

But then something swift and blue ran in front of me. I didn't have time to think about it, before the gallimimus was in front of me.

I lunged and sank my teeth into its neck. I could taste the warm blood it was flowing into my mouth.

Once it was dead I called for Checho to come to the kill. She came after a few minutes and we all started eating the gallimimus.

Once we ate our fill we headed back towards our nesting site. We where careful to avoid the t-rex's territory.

As the sun started to set we all got ready to sleep. Checho curled up in my side. Bullet curled up next to me and put his head on my back.

In the morning I got up and stretched. Then I did my normal routine. I went down to the waterfall and drank my fill.

Today though the mountain was smoking more then usual. Weird.

When I got back to the nesting site Bullet and Checho where up.

"Let's go." I then started walking away. They followed me. We came upon the wreckage of what was once the park.

We could smell that humans had been here recently. I inhaled deeply. I could smell the human who fed us.

They weren't here to long ago either. We went back the way we came. Humans meant danger.

We then went to the beach it was usually such a nice place but there where more humans and there machines.

But they had cages and in those cages where dinosaurs! They were capturing us!

Narrator talking.

The humans where capturing every kind of dinosaur they could get their grubby hands on.

The raptors carefully crept away from the beach back into the jungle. Shaken by what the seen. "What where those things?" Checho asked.

"Humans." Bullet and Arrow said gravely. They headed deeper into the forest. Inhaling deeply Arrow could smell a familiar scent.

But she played it off as nothing. Then they came upon Owen. Arrow started backing up not wanting to be seen. Bullet copied.

They ran away. When they came back to the nesting site. They laid down panting hard.

Then the island let out a huge rumble and lava fled out of the volcano.

The raptors ran towards the beach in terror. But they where to late the lava had already reached them by the time they where almost out of the forest.

Arrow's last words where "Blue!" Her last thoughts where 'I'll see you soon my beloved.'
