Chapter 9 : Death

So... I just checked in to wattpad and saw my reads! 215+!
How did ya guys do that?! Anyways... I haven't updated for I think 2 or 3 weeks? Geez, I didnt counted it since I'm so busy with my studies, you know the Examination thingy? Yup! one things for sure! I enjoyed taking that exam, well except for math, -.- Oh well Thanks for reading guys!

*Your POV*

You didnt knew what happened, What happened was so fast, With one blink of an eye, you found yourself covered in blood. Yes you joined the expedition outside the wall then you've already got yourself in this mess.

You looked around you, Tears brimming in your eyes, You looked at the lifeless bodies of your comrades who were crushed by the Female titan, The tears started pouring faster that makes your vision go blurry.

A loud growl was heard followed by heavy footsteps, then you saw the Female titan who killed your comrades, and Eren who was fighting with her, when you felt a hand reach out for your arm. You yelp in surprise and looked at the owner of it, Petra.

"(Y-y/N), R-run" She said weakly, coughing blood. You shook your head 'No' and grabbed her shoulders.

"I-i cant just leave you here! We're going to make this out alive" You said, you were surprised when you saw her face redden in anger, why is she angry at me? at a time like this?

"(Y/N)! You need to go now!" She whisper-shout at me. "W-why? I just cant leave you here!" You stated starting to cry once again. She held your hand tightly.

"D-do you like L-levi?" She questions me and I flinched at her words. We all know that she had a crush on Levi. You remained silent, not giving her an answer.

"(Y/N), answer me, please?" She pleaded, you sighed but nodded. "Y-yeah, I like him" You said and she smiled, "Good, now please run now, leave me here" She said.

"I told you Petra I cant! You are my comrade" I said. "Then what about that promise you and Levi did?" She asked. W-what?

"W-what promise?" You asked, suddenly a memory came to your mind...

"Dont worry, I'm not planning to die, besides, when this expedition ends, I'm going to tell you all of the things and parts why I like you"

  "Promise me that?" 

"Promise!" 

T-that's right, I made a promise to Levi a-and, No! I shouldn't be thinking like that, Your comrade is lying beside you, almost like a dead person. "Petra, you heard u-us?" She nodded her head.

"Don't worry, I dont mind, For some point, I never saw Levi acting towards someone like that, so I came up a hypothesis that maybe... maybe he likes you too" She said, Your breath hitched, Levi? Also likes me? Nah, no way!

"There's no time for that Petra! we need to survive!" As I said that, I saw the female titan running towards us, It took me seconds to process what was going on, and the last thing I know was, I pushed Petra to the other side, while I was sent of flying to the hard tree.

Blood was now gushing out of my head, Darkness slowly consumed you then you heard a voice, a familiar one. "(Y/N)!!"

"L-levi..." You said reaching out for him but the darkness already consumed you.

This is not yet the end, You wont die I promise! cuz If you die! then there's be no more protagonist! TT_TT

*Levi's POV*

'We didnt successfully captured the female titan, but I'm sure someday we will, She'll pay for this,' I said in my mind clenching my fist when I sudddenly remember (Y/N).

That's right! I need to go check on her, She promised me that she wont die and I'm gonna hold on to that. '(Y/N) Dont you dare die on me' 

When I got to the trunk where I last saw her lying, All I could see was her blood, Where is she? I started to get panic. 'Did she got eaten? No! I shouldnt be thinking about that'

I started to maneuver to where the others were, But what I saw next literally made my stomach churn when I saw a familiar body. They were starting to confirm who's alived and who's dead or missing in action.

"Petra Ral?"

"RIght here" Petra said weakly, she's looking at the familiar body while tears were slowly coming out of her eyes.

"(Y/N) (L/N)?" My attention was focused on the announcer, but what I heard was so heart breaking... The one whom I loved...

"Dead on action sire" A voice called out.

Was dead...

*Normal POV*

A sound of a monitor beeping was heard... The (H/C) hair girl tried to move her body but she couldnt cuz it feels numb. She heard the door opening.

"L-levi..?" She weakly called out, then she heard footsteps occuring.

"Oh dear! She's awake! call the doctor!" A female voice called out.

"Thank goodness you're awake! I'm so worried of you" The woman said, tearing up.

The girl looked at the woman, She was shocked at first but teared up then..

"M-mom..." She said.
