It's suffocating. There's nowhere to turn that's safe. No one above seems to notice or care. We are stuck down here with their mess. The waves used to be beautiful but then they were tainted by the danger that threatens us. Was it done on purpose or was it just the effect of indifference. Before it got so bad we could see the sky through the waves and the birds flying above, now all we can see is the possible death that looms over us. One inhale and we could choke, one pass-by and we could be poisoned, infected or snagged. Living in constant fear of the floating death. If the one's above were living in constant fear they would want change, they would want help. The one's above claim to care about us and the ocean but they are slowly killing us off, without much regret. If they were to see the ocean the way we see it they would want to help, they would want to change. Even if it's hard to do the right thing it's always better to. We just want to stop living in constant fear of death. Is that too much to ask for, are we asking too much of them. The sea is our home and it should be taken care of and respected by all creatures, not just by the one's that live here and who call it home. I'm scared of the lack of care put into the health of the ocean and this planet, if the same lack of care was put into money or fame then the world would probably be a little cleaner with more time to think about the planet and it's oceans.
