Chapter Three

If I didn’t like my brother a day ago, I sure as hell didn’t like him now.

Damn him and his stupid band mates for agreeing to go along with this.  They didn’t even know me, and Harry has probably told them some horror stories about me, so why the hell would they want me to come along with them?

I shoved my last pair of skinny jeans into my sticker covered suitcase and zipped it up. Apparently, since there wasn’t a whole lot of room on a tour bus, I could only bring one suitcase.

I am a girl, I have needs! One suitcase and a tiny backpack aren’t going to cut it. Sure, I wasn’t a prissy brat, but I had to spend an entire summer living off one suitcase.

Preposterous.

“Cassidy, get down here! They have arrived!” My mother shouted from downstairs.

I rolled my eyes and jerked my over packed suitcase onto the floor. I looked around at my room for the last time for months. My black and purple walls were cluttered with numerous posters of bands and pictures.

No doubt this would be my last time seeing anything civilized as these boys looked as gay as rainbows. Of course, I had my suspicions about Harry from the beginning, and this little boy band confirmed them.

They were always so peppy, especially Harry’s best friend Louis. I had briefly met him at one of their concerts I was forced to go to for publicity, and I can honestly say I wasn’t too fond of him. For one, he hugged me. I hate hugs. Secondly, he was too excited.

Sure, he seemed cool, but he liked my brother, so obviously there was something wrong with him and the rest of the lot.

Lifting up the handle and walking out the door, I nearly snorted as I saw my outfit in my mirror on my door. My mother made me wear a skirt. I absolutely despised skirts, especially the pink kind. Of course, she just had to make me wear a pink one.

And of course I counteracted, not that she would know until I walked down the stairs. Paired with my pink skirt, I had a pair of old fishnet stalking’s and black checkered Converse. My shirt was just a regular band t-shirt, and my hair was let down without a care.

Yup, I looked hot.

I made it to the top of the stairs and groaned. How the hell was I supposed to get my suitcase down these steep stairs? A wicked smile made its way to my face as a fabulous idea popped into my head. I shoved my suitcase down the stairs, and threw my backpack to the bottom.

I clapped my hands together as the bag slammed down on the floor. Problem solved. I slid down the banister and jumped off, immediately going into a bow knowing my mother was watching in the connecting room. I couldn’t wait to see the look on her face.

I heard loud clapping and even a whistle. I jerked my head up to see four unfamiliar guys standing in my living room. I recognized Louis, as he was the one clapping the loudest. When I made eye contact with him, he bounded over to me and scooped me into a hug.

“Cassie, my love! I have missed you ever so much!” He squealed excitedly, spinning me around.

I laughed and detached myself from him. “I don’t think I can say the same.”

He pouted crossing his arms over his bright neon orange shirt and suspenders. “You know you love me.”

I laughed again, putting a hand on his shoulder. “Oh, Louis, you know my love for you will never fade.”

At that time my mom decided it was her turn to talk. “Cassidy Anne Styles what are you wearing?”

I shrugged and mimicked Louis, crossing my arms over my t-shirt. “Whatever do you mean dear mother? I am wearing what you told me to!” I said innocently with a smirk on my face.

She was about to open her mouth when someone interrupted her.

“Hi, I’m Liam. It’s nice to finally meet you.” A very cute boy stepped around my mother and in front of me with his hand out. He had light brown hair and from what I could see, he was fit.

I shook his hand, giving him a flirty smile. “Cassie, but you already knew that.”

He seemed shocked for a minute, but before he could answer, a boy with blonde hair and killer smile stepped beside him.

“Hi, I’m Niall.” He said in a cute Irish accent. Another boy stepped up, and instantly I could tell he was the womanizer. His extremely gelled hair was just screaming ‘come at me bro’!

“Hello, I’m Zayn. ‘Vas Happenin’?” He grinned like a fool as if he had just made a funny joke.

I grinned back, confused at what he was getting at. The boy with the Irish accent, Niall rolled his eyes. “Zayn, she’s not a fan. She wouldn’t understand.”

“Yeah, but she knows my obsession for carrots!” Louis butted in, putting an arm around my shoulder.

I rolled my eyes and shoved his arm off my shoulder. “Do I ever. He literally talked about them for an hour. I went to hell and back.”

The boys chuckled, while Louis did his usual pout. Huh, they didn’t seem that bad! I might actually enjoy my summer for once.

“Stop flirting with my sister. She’s too young for you all anyways. We need to get a move on.” Harry said glaring at all the boys.

Never mind. This summer would be absolute hell.
